 Rating:  - Kids had a lot of fun with Skimboard SurferEasy set-up and lots of fun for older children (8-12) I would easily recommend this product Rating: - It's great until the sides split!My daughter bought this with some of her own money that she got for her birthday. It was great for about one week, and then the sides just split apart at the seams! When someone sets this up, it is also very important to water the grass underneath, since the grass will get totally burned even when it gets moved immediately after use. Don't expect to get the use of an entire season out of this! Rating:  - Fun, but does best on a flat surfaceMy daughter got this for her birthday. Our yard is not completely level, but it is not very hilly either. We never could get it to work like in the pictures. It is still fun if you just run the hose down the middle. If the surface is not completely flat. the water pools to one side, and the board does not slide well. Overall, the kids still had fun. It was just not much better than a slip -n- slide for about 3 times the price. Rating: - Amazing.I bought this toy for my daughter's birthday. Our yard has few spots where it is perfectly level. My daughter and I set it up and she had a blast. This toy is amazing. She's definatley got my money's worth out of it. Rating: - Great, Unique, Fun Product!Saw this on TV and it looked interesting but I was hesitant to buy due to some of the negative reviews here. The price was good so we gave it a chance and are so glad we did! It's a lot longer than a slip-n-slide and more interesting. Riding the board is a challenge, but a fun one, and it's really fast and active. Some hints to offer--yes, you do have to have a very flat surface, but the instructions indicate that the slide needs to be filled with 2 and a half inches of water before use. If you wait for the little sprayers to do this, it would take forever and it may look like you only get little unconnected puddles. We treated it like it was a long thin swimming pool, and just used the garden hose to fill it up before turning on the sprayers. ... Read More: |
