 Rating:  - Very Durable and great for Lefties!We bought this for our daughter about a year ago, and everyone in the house plays with it, her older and younger brothers both, and that means ages 2-5. It's held up beautifully, nothing wrong with it and it's been dragged all over the house (and car), fought over, and wrestled with and it's still going just fine. As a plus, the mouse pad can either sit on a peg connected to the right side for easy travel stability, but for our left handed daughter, you just move it off the peg and move it on over. This is a huge plus for this system. Rating: - vtech tote n go computerwas very satisfied with product but i think it should have had some type of instructions as to the functions there was no guide to show you how to use the computer Rating: - Great gift idea for kidsI bought this for my 3 year old niece, and she loved it. It was her favorite gift out of all of her birthday gifts! I think it might be just a little bit advanced for her age, but it is definitely something she can use for quite some time. Rating:  - Volume control issue "Not parent friendly"Aside from the following, this beginner laptop has its uses, it no doubt educates but because of the following, this toy can be a parent's nightmare. ** On the lower right of the "screen" flap, there exists a volume control meant for parents, but it is most used by the child. The loudest setting for the volume is not the issue, but the monkey shreeks that play non-stop to give you an audible example of the volume level. I would expect that when pressing this button, you would hear the monkey shreeks to adjust the volume and then continue on...BUT, when you press the volume button and then the child walks away from the unit, the monkey shreeks continue non-stop until the unit goes into power saver "off" mode after 2-3 minutes. ...
