These weighted gloves are great! The quality is excellent and I love the fit. The material is soft and holds up well. One note, the size you pick determines the weight. Size 4 are 1 lb. and size 6 are 1.5 lbs. Far better quality than those sold on BeachBody .com.

They don't feel like they are going to fall off when you are punching like some other gloves (my class uses Everlast). However, I didn't realize before I bought these how important an open palmed glove is. Your hands sweat a lot more with these and it's difficult to use weighted bars because there is weight right on the palm of your hand. Overall, I wish I had gone with the open palmed variety.

Good quality at great price. Easy to put on and the velcro bands make them fit snugly on my hands. When working out, they feel right and make my workouts very enjoyable even at 1.5 pounds of weight.

I love these weighted gloves. Unlike others I've owned I find the design of these gloves to be comfortable, and they stay in place with two velcro wraps.
These particular gloves are a bit heavier than most - which is what I want.
Putting an extra pound and a half at the end of each arm while working out is an excellent way to add resistance. You could walk or run, shadow box, practice kata, etc, with these.
Martial artists will find wearing these while practicing techniques will help build speed and power.

I bought these gloves to use with Chalene Johnson's "Turbo Jam" workouts, in lieu of the more expensive Turbo Jam weighted gloves. They work perfectly for my purpose, and I love the fit and feel of them. I have very small wrists, and the velcro-wrap design makes it easy to get them snug.
Some people prefer a glove with an open palm, because these do get sweaty during a hard workout, but I like having something to grip in my fist when I'm punching and kicking.
Note: the "sizes" 4 and 6 do not refer to the actual fit of the glove, but the amount of weight. Size 4 = 1 lb each (2 lb. pair), and size 6 = 1.5 lbs. each (3 lb. pair). I have the size 4 and they are heavy enough for me, but I am a 100-lb. girl.
