ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 9 Running Shoes

I've ran on these shoes about half a dozen times now ranging from 2.5 to 4.5 miles with no problems so far. I highly recommend ASICS shoes for comfort and stability. I also have wide feet and ASICS tends to offer shoes in wide widths. I was running on ASICS Gel Cumulus 9, but I have to say the Nimbus 9 is a superior shoe. The Cumulus' were great, but my feet could only handle about 3.5 miles before I would get some numbness in my feet. My shins were also starting to hurt towards the tail end of my use, probably caused by the shoe breaking down and me running on them longer than its lifespan. ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 10 Running Shoes

I've used the lower line Asics shoes (2120) I think is the model number. For the money, this shoe is a bit of a letdown. They are comfortable but they rub just a bit in the toe for me. I hope that they break in a bit better with more extended use. I run about 20 miles a week. I have noticed I don't have the same fatigue that I had in my joints from my last pair of shoes (2120's) but it might have been that my 2120's were worn completely out. I think a new pair of 2120's would have been just as good as this pair.

All running shoes break down over time. Next time I'll stick with my 2120's and save a few dollars.

This is the 5th pair of Keyano I've owned. All of them take a little while to feel really good (probably 15-20 miles), but once you hit that, they feel great and are a very durable shoe.

Asics Men?s GT-2130 Running Shoes

I had a job where I worked for six hours a day with a 20 minute break and the the rest of the time I was on my feet! I started out wearing a pair of old basketball shoes but I soon found out that was not a smart decision. After only a few days I noticed when I got home that I had achy feet and lower back pain like no other. So I went to my local shoe store and said show me the most comfortable shoe you guys have and they brought me the Asics, nikes, rebooks, and the north face. All of which were of the same design but the Asics hands down are the most comfortable. I feel so much better after a long day of work when I wear these.

ASICS Men's GEL-Cumulus 9 Running Shoes

I ordered D width sneakers but received 4E width. Upon receipt, I called customer service at Footlocker, the actual provider, and the service was FANTASTIC. I re-ordered the sneakers directly from Footlocker and received the corrected size in a couple days with no charge for shipment (since it was previously paid with the initial order).
There apperently was a glitch between Amazon's website and Footlocker that caused the size error on the original order.
P.S. Asics Gel-Cumulus 9 sneaker is a GREAT running shoe and slightly less expensive than the newer Gel-Cumulus 10 model.

Mens ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10 Running Shoe

I've been a runner for longer than I care to specify here and I can say that this Nimbus 10 is the best shoe I have ever run in. I have been running in Asics shoes for the last 16 years, mostly 2XXX series. I have also used the Kayanos a couple of times. However, these shoes started hurting my feet and I was about to leave the Asics family (note, I swap out to new running shoes every six months). A store salesperson recommended that I try the Nimbus 10, he was right. A more expensive shoe but my feet, knees and joints are worth it in the long run. Get it.

ASICS Mens GEL-DS Trainer 12 Running Shoes

I decided to run the Paris marathon last April with those rather than my Gel Kayanos (with which I ran the Athens marathon last November), and they were a revelation. I wasn't sure the cushioning would be enough over 26 miles, but it was. I set a new PR. Then I set a new PR over half-marathon distance with the same shoes two weeks later.

I love the combination of comfort, light weight, springiness, and sufficent cushioning. A fantastic shoe. I'm buying a new pair.

For reference, I weigh 170 lbs. I'm not sure this shoe would work as well for those over 180/190 at marathon distance, but in any event it should work for most people for half-marathon or less.

Asics Women?s Gel-Kayano 14 Running Shoes

I remember slipping into my first pair of Kayano 13's and they were heaven. The 13's are the perfect width, have wonderful cushioning and my feet are never tired or achy after a run. I was thrilled about these new 14's and couldn't wait to buy a pair. Until I tried a pair on the other day. Asics has narrowed the toe box and heel, it doesn't feel as cushy and they're just not as nice. I think I had better stock up on my 13's before they're hard to come by. If you're a 13 fan, I recommend actually trying these 14's on before buying them online!
