Received these bags fairly quickly. They are about twice the size of regular plastic grocery bags. I shop at Kroger and experience a bit of difficulty with these bags staying on the bag rack at self-checkout as well as the baggers having difficulty as well. I still feel a little clumsy with the bags until I can get enough items in them to have them stand on their own. In addition, I keep losing the pouches and wished that somehow they were integrated with the bag. It could be the way the bag stations are designed at the store, but I ended up getting the reusable bags that are the same shape as a brown paper bag. Although they are smaller, they can stand up on their own when empty and generally more convenient for me.

These are wonderful bags and I love them, we use them for other things, not just groceries, like book bags, bags for the kids to tote their toys around in, they are very versitile.On the down side, these have separate storage sacks that are hard to keep track of, other bags have storage sacks attached on to the bag which is more convenient. Other than that, these are wonderful bags, and they can hold much more than traditional plastic bags, also the handles are nice and long so you can tie them if you need to keep items securly inside while transporting.

My children used to giggle when they saw older women walking around the malls, carrying those little black mesh shopping bags; they were like caricatures of happy, independent seniors pictured in so many cartoons. Even though I could see the convenience and practicality of those bags, I admit to a few chuckles myself. But I thought they were cute little old ladies, rather endearing, in fact.

These bags are great, made out of ripstop, they are super durable!

I chose the "neutrals" set, instead of one colour, and they will go with pretty much everything. They fold of small and come with their own carry bag, making them great to stuff in your purse, but they actually hold ALOT and they seem quite strong. I had one cashier put a bunch of cans and stuff and it seemed too heavy, but the bag held up.

Hopefully I can remember to bring them with me more when grocery shopping, cuz there's no need for so many plastic bags!

I've been using these bags for a few months and am very happy with them.

Contrary to the previous reviewers' statement, the bags are a very good size. They hold as much as a standard supermarket bag but - because of the long handles - can hold even more. I do all of my shopping without a car and therefore need to carry heavy and large items. Unlike other bags, these bags are large enough to fit 12 double roll packs of TP. They are also sturdy enough to hold quite a few large cans and bottles. The long handles make this even easier because I can carry them over my shoulder.

Baggu Reusable Shopping Tote and Pouch

These are fabulous! I've always preferred to bring my own bags to the supermarket, but hated the bulk. My old canvas bags had all but fallen apart, and it was time to replace them. I spotted these bags on Amazon and purchased two to try them out. Well, here I am back for more! They're designed pretty much just like plastic grocery bags, but they hold 2 or 3 times as much and don't hurt your arm. I can't rave enough! Brilliantly simple and darn cute at that--makes me feel less "granola" as I pack up my grocery bags now! :-)
