Inspiring and uplifting! Laced with laser sharp humor, Eat,Pray,Love is the account of a mid-thirties woman figuring it out! Read it now!

This is a great book that shows how a combination of commitment, focus, and dedication can bring about remarkable changes for others. A must read for those interested in making a difference in the lives of others!

For all Americans who have not decided on who should be our next President, this book is a real eye opener. I further researched many of the footnotes and found them to be 100% dead on. Obama is portrayed as a socialist and his ideas for America would tend to be anti-constitutional. Karl Marx would be proud of him and Thomas Jefferson would be insulted.

I never thought I would want to read a book like this, but after seeing Tori's reality show (yes I got sucked into that too) I wanted to read it and it was a really great read...it gives a great peek into a life that you hear about via the media...but this was her perspective and helps one understand who she is now and how her life isn't at all what you would assume.

Just FYI: Obama operatives are creating phony "conservative" reviews to spread lies and smear Palin---trying to dissuade moderates and independents. Last year, Newsweek magazine had an article praising Governor Palin's "pragmatic, postpartisan approach to solving problems, a style that works especially well with the large numbers of independent voters." I wanted to see what inspired Oprah to say this was one of the most outstanding books she ever read. It was the biggest bunch of fluff I have ever read. It says we need to work together to accomplish goals and to end partisan bickering. Then it says unlike Republicans who cut student loans or spent millions to defeat Democarts. It is the life of a man who had not even been in the U.S. Senate yet. How does someone with no background win an election and the next month get a three book deal for 1.9 million and it go unnoticed? This was a novice who got paid to write whatever popped into his head for the sake of money.

Do not read in bed...you'll never go to sleep...you'll be laughing to hard.
Not as great as her newest... Are you there vodka, but still highly enjoyable and a fun read.

I should have read reviews of this book before buying it. I've been a member of a local, organic, community supported farm for 2 summers BEFORE I read this book. The first couple of chapters were very hard to get through, and I kept thinking, OK she's going to get into the specifics soon... But they never came. I assumed that she'd be writing to an audience that already knew of the importance of eating locally, and was going to give good advice on how to apply it practically for a whole year. WRONG. I'm a little more than halfway through and I can't wait to be done with it. There are no details about the variety in her garden, pest control, planting times for different produce. Perhaps the biggest disappointment is the fact that they didn't really only eat ... Read More:

I was happy to see that this book was added to Oprah's book club, this ment that millions who never knew of this book would read it or at least hear it's story. I read this in college as part of the debates on wither the US should have entered WW2 before 1941. When I was done I felt that I had been robbed. Not that I didn't enjoy the book but that noone had told me about it before. I would rather have read this in Middle or High school then some of the junk books they forced on us, and while Romeo and Joilet is a fine work I belive that the story Wiesel gives us is more timly and would give kids something to think about.
The story of Wiesel and his Father in the camps should make anyone who reads this book take note of what happens when Fascism and National Socalism ... Read More:
