I enjoyed a few of the So Notorious episodes I watched on VH1 and thought how open and FUNNY Tori was. I never got really in to the whole 90210 thing, so my exposure to Miss Spelling has been fairly recent. SO I got this book, and could hardly put in down. Although I certainly understand her better, I actually like her less than when I started reading. But she is a person, and a seemingly honest one at that. (and which of us hasn't made a mistake, or a hundred mistakes for that matter) I don't really see how someone who grew up in the whole twisted surreal way that she did could have done much better. I keep feeling horrible for her first husband Charlie, even though I know he should have known better. . But she is frank and infinitely ... Read More:

This is a non-fiction account of the history behind the food we eat. This book describes the great industrial food complex and advocates local, organic foods. Extremely well-researched and well-presented. This was a compelling book and will likely convince you to change your eating habits.

not great... I actually liked her newer book better (are you there vodka.. its me Chelsea).. After reading that book first, I was thinking this one had to be even more raunchy... but it wasn't what I expected. It wasn't bad... I enjoy the way she writes. I just was let down after reading the other book first.

I believe he means well, but, once again, Michael falls victim to what seems to be a potent chauvinistic passion and undisciplined tendency to employ anecdotes to support his viewpoints and arguments. One can only hope that more of our electorate will invest in any rigorous education which stresses critical thinking so that fewer and fewer of us will rely on the likes of the Michael Moore's in this world to inform our opinions and decisions.

This book was just as good if not better than Chelsea's first book. I absolutely love reading her material and look forward to watching her show all the time! Her humor is often what helps me stomach this crazy life. It's nice to know there are people out there with lives crazier than mine that are actually experiencing success from such absurd experiences. I love Chelsea and hope she continues to write and along the way receives many blessings of increased prosperity, popularity and success. To make others laugh and smile is a gift.

Barbara Kingsolver's lyric prose is so fun to read, and it's good for you too! It's heartening to see the locavore movement get such attention on a national scale. Maybe American food culture isn't doomed after all. The inserts from her family are entertaining, but sometimes awkwardly placed. I can't wait to lend this out to my friends.
