If you've watched Cesar then you know how amazing his message is. This book, when reading it, make you feel like he is narrating an episode in your ear. Its a wonderful book that breaks down the information into smaller segments so that you can focus on a particular subject and also allows you to get more detailed information on the subjects he teaches! LOVE IT

I have bought 4 copies of this book to give to friends because I love it. It is the perfect gift for anyone who likes to bake. I have been baking one new cookie every week with my son and daughter since we got this book in the summer.
What I love is that there are all types of recipes, simple ones and more complex, with a wide variety of flavors. The book is divided by cookie categories: Light and Delicate, Soft and Chewy, Crumbly and Sandy, Chunky and Nutty, Cakey and Tender, Crisp and Crunchy and Rich and Dense. Each category is accompanied with beautiful photos of the cookies, which are all shown in the table of contents. The book has beautiful layout (as always for martha books) and easy to follow recipes.

We tried many approaches with our children involving treating them as little adults such as the STEP program and had nothing but trouble. We didn't find this book until our children were approaching teen ages but the advice was still excellent and transformed our relationships. This author, years ago put in writing simple techniques that allow you to set rules, to create a situation where the children learn boundaries even before they fully understand the need for rules, and everyone in the family, large and small, can get through situations without unnecessary stress or embarrassment. Everything you see on TV with the nanny shows is the embodiment of these simple principles.

Merle's Door is probably my favorite dog book ever and I've read many dog books! What a beautiful story of a man/dog relationship! I have already given this book to several dog lover friends and will purchase more.

Cesar has great ideas and is a awesome pack leader. We have a puppy and watching his show and this item has been very helpful. I would've definitely liked a DVD to watch instead but since it's not available yet, this worked great.

This book is a great place to start for anyone who wants to decorate a room or rooms from scratch or who wants to add to a room that needs something extra. It has great ideas, especially for the beginner, for gathering information, being creative, buying with confidence, and visualizing the end result. Rather than being overwhelming, the colorful and easy-to-follow steps make the process much more delightful for those with little training and less natural ability.

While the book has great resources, including examples of window treatments and upholstery and a detailed resource section, the one missing piece that would be invaluable to the true novice is a glossary. Kitchen Confidential is a must read for anyone who has ever set foot in the backrooms of a restaurant. Bourdain captures the environment with all its stresses, off-colored language and cooking pride. Kitchen Confidential reads similar to a feature on VH1's Behind the Music as Bourdain battles with his own demons and finds success after many years of debauchery. I have been a fan of Bourdain's No Reservation on the Travel Channel for quite awhile and now as an author. The book lead me to another Bourdain project called the Les Halles Cookbook which has inspired me to spend more time in the favorite room of my house, the kitchen. Thank you, Tony!
