I agree with other reviewers in that this is a really well done book with lovely patterns, and I am glad to have it in my extensive lace knitting library. That said, I was still a little disappointed. I have taken Nancy's Estonian Lace Knitting class (wonderful), and have knitted two of her designs (Madli's Shawl and Ene's Scarf). I have also purchased the book of Estonian lace (Pitsilised Koerkirjad) (in Estonian, but it has good graphs). My dream is to understand how to design a larger, lacier version of Ene's Scarf--with the motifs double-decreasing and disappearing in the middle as that one does. I bought the H.E. Harris Official U.S. Mint 50 State Quarters collectors book. It has a nice appearance, but it is difficult to put the coins in the holes provided. I can't seem to do it. Is there a simple way to do this.

Book is an easy resource for self sufficiency, however the techniques are a bit dated. Recommended for traditional gardening techniques and farming, canning etc.

This book is absolutely hilarious, written from a dog's point of view and is so accurate. This is a must read for dog owners or anyone who loves dogs. I laughed and nodded my head in agreement throughout the entire book. A pure delight and very light-hearted read.

Everyone can write, and everyone has to write. There is something magical about putting that abstract dream onto the concreteness of writing. The printing press and the internet revolutionized the world because it democratized information. Everyone had a chance to share their voice and to learn from others. You owe it to yourself to be the best writer you can be.

A Stanford English professor recommended this book to me. She was the first authority who told me I had a gift for writing, and said I would be a best-selling author. I have this book, and her, to thank for my abilities.
