Arrived promptly and in good condition.
The book contains Newspaper articles of the period challenging the ratification of the proposed Constitution, along with debates intended to show weaknesses in it. Very valuable to the researcher into The Constitution, and the thoughts that went into it.

I'm in a ConLaw class right now that tends to wander and this book has definitely helped me to understand the fundamental points of the cases we are reading and the concepts we are learning. It is curious why Mr. Chemerinsky couldn't have been this concise in the casebook, but that's beside the point. :)
That being said, this is NOT a study aid for finals. It is way too indepth and specific to be used in the wee hours before a ConLaw final. Better to use this as a companion to your casebook and to follow along throughout the term.

This book is about a reality so different from my own, I use it as escapism. Although the transactions described are Byzantine, the book nevertheless holds the reader's attention for over 400 pp. Events are presented roughly chronologically; the characters and information accrue like an approaching balloon note; some questions are answered only after the reader has had time to stew. Tension mounts as the house of cards gets impossibly higher!

I feel this was the most useful law school prep book that I read. And I read quite a few !!! Loads of useful tips and information to make the beginning of this journey easier. Especially liked the colored marker system of highlighting. Saves time and makes organization a snap.

I purchased the Kaplan LSAT Premier program as well as the Kaplan LSAT Logic Games Workbook and I've been working with them for about a month. I not only want my money back, but my time as well! These books are full of errors and typos, in the logic games workbook especially. This has made it HARDER to prep for the test rather than easier. STAY AWAY FROM KAPLAN

I loved Greg Iles' "Third Degree" so I bought this book to read and I was disappointed. The storyline was interesting and somewhat creative at first, but the closer I got to the end of the story, the more disappointed I became. The predictable "twists and turns" sort of reminded me of how mysteries were solved in the Scooby Doo tv shows - just too predictable and unrealistic. However, I would describe this book as entertaining and a quick read.

Hemingway said all American writing comes from one book, Huck Finn. Wrong! He also believed himself a better writer than Fitzgerald. Wrong! I'm no literary expert, I haven't gone to Harvard or Yale or any of those overpriced universities for spoiled rich kids but in my expert opinion all American literature: rhythm, length, flow, syntax, form, etc., came from one book & this is it. Henry Miller was spot-on when he said America has only produced one great writer & that is Walt Whitman. Hemingway's style wasn't jacked from Stein or Anderson, well, maybe a bit from Anderson, so much as Whitman. Yeah, I know Bloom has drawn a connection between Hemingway & Whitman before, the repetition-ploy & all that, but what I'm telling you, if you'll forgive ... Read More:

These flash cards were better than any supplement I have purchased, so far. Any ambiguities I had were cleared through these cards. Even topics I had a tough time with after speaking with the professor personally, were cleared up through these cards. Great for help with multiple choice questions especially, because they give great hypos. Also great for essays because they lay out the elements of each tort, defense, etc., and explain them. Also, one of my most favorite parts was the acronyms they provide. I would recommend these flash cards to anyone suffering through, or even sickly enjoying, torts.
