Sookie is off to Jackson, MS to save Bill after a mishap. Bill is on special assignment for the Queen of Louisiana but it goes wrong. Sookie and Eric must save him, unfortunately, Bill has also been unfaithful angering Sookie, will she save him or go with Eric or someone else? Are werewolves really a shady type of supernatural being? This book is better than book two and picks up the series once again. Poor Sookie seems to spend her time getting beaten up and carried around but with vampires willing to put her back together, she never seems to mind much. The book is good fun and contagious reading. I'll definitely follow through and read more in the series.

The story of Wesley the Owl is a fantastic read for any animal lover, and especially avian lovers. The human/animal connection Stacey shares with Wesley, and the stories she tells of that connection are entertaining, enlightening and simply wonderful. A lot can be learned from this book about the human/animal connections that we all share with our animal friends. A must read!

This review refers to the Audiobook version of Alphabet Juice. If you have the opportunity I highly suggest giving the audio-book version a listen. I was a little dubious at first, books about language don't necessarily do very well in audio format, but I'm SO glad I gave it a try. Mr. Blount's joy and zest for language really comes alive as he reads his book. It's a sheer delight to listen to. Alphabet Juice is a superbly apt name for this book; it's not often that you find something that delights in the taste of words the way this does, the way they feel in your mouth, the way they roll off the tongue.

This book is really funny, the way she tells stories is hilarious. Her other book "Are you there Vodka It's me Chelsea?" is really funny too. I wish she had more books.

I liked a lot of things about this book but it has created some bad feelings toward Sookie for me. Up to this point, I've mostly enjoyed her character and have loved the books. But I won't abandon the series. I'm just hoping for some character improvement for Sookie with Book 9.

This book is my all-time favorite. I have read it more times than I can count and it never loses its charm. There have been times when I have finished reading the last page only to turn to the beginning and immediately start reading it all over again.

I would recommend this book to people of all ages and backgrounds. This beautifully written simple tale is inspiring and uplifting in a subtle, refreshing way. If you are the type of person who believes in fate, following your heart or that everything happens for a reason, you will absolutely love this book!

I keep this book around to read occasionally. My edition has a printing history going back to 1954. The stock market crash is a point in history that I've tried to understand. mmm...the bankers kept pumping money into the system...until they couldn't do it anymore. Who were these people and how did this happen? Well, today I picked it up again.

According to Galbraith, the US economy was already in a Depression by October 1929 as the stock market reacts to the economy and never the reverse. It became fashionable for working people to get into the stock market. Before the crash, there were some signs of economic downturn, but no one expected the disaster it became. It was a bubble that had to be pricked. This sounds so familiar now.

This book turned out to be one of my favorites of the stackhouse series. There is action x2 so it really gives you alot to read. You really just want to kick Bill in the butt but I will not spoil it but is a must read..
Lots of things come into play with this book and things are making more sense.
