You can't get fit in 20mins without those 20mins being focused and intense. I've spent years "phoning it in" (a Jillian-ism) at the gym and these workouts are more intense but vastly more productive. This is not your typical workout video. With most workout videos a relatively "fit" but inactive person (I don't rock climb for fun) will find them generating a small sweat but producing next to zero results. Might as well just climb the stairs a bit and park in the far end of the lot. This is not one of those videos. Want to not take the stairs, park upfront, and see results? This is the right video.

I bought this DVD from amazon and I was expecting an okay video, based on the reviews I had read on here previously. Boy, was I surprised! The 5 10-minute workouts seem more like 2 minutes and the woman is really enthusiastic, but not creepily so as so many fitness video instructors are (Fake smiles are just creepy!). She gives you a moderate/advanced pose, then tells you how to modify it to a beginner's pose. You don't need a whole bunch of equipment- just you, workout clothes, socks, shoes, a towel for the first section, and the video! No bands, no balls, no blocks. Just you and the video! I am really enjoying this DVD to add some different ways of working with Pilates in my exercises. I have working alot on my abs with this DVD and feel the results, love that part alot. As a relatively new person to Pilates and working my way up there were many things I could do on this DVD as a beginner. If you like Pilates and want to add some extras (such as a ball) that will further strengthen you, Lizbeth will help.

I really love the new addition to the 10 Minute Solution series, Quick Tummy Toners. Each section tones in different ways, which is great. It ensures that you will never get bored. There is a little bit of everything included to work every area of your tummy, even cardio which I think is great! I could really feel and notice a difference after each workout. The instructor, Jessica Smith, is very friendly and motivating without getting irritating. This would be a great dvd to do all by itself or to add on a section or more to the beginning or end of a workout.

I ordered this DVD 4 days ago (8/22/08), and tracked my order yesterday. It said I was suppose to get it tomorrow, then I checked it again today and now it says I will be getting it in 9-13 days. I called Amazon and they are telling me I will be getting it on 9/10/08, that is 13 days excluding weekends and holidays.

I have ordered other products before and have gotten them on time or earlier on the date that they had on the tracking info. This is the first time they will take twice as long. Disappointed! I pray that it comes sooner.

The customer service people are from India and because I am hard-of-hearing, it was EXTREMELY difficult and frustrating for me to understand them. They started shouting and I cannot understand people shouting. ... Read More:

I've been a fan of Brooke's for years -- I've done numerous Pilates dvds and have only been able to do Pilates with Brooke, thus far, with her books, flash cards, and CDs (in the Pilates Body Kit). I've loved her from the start and have been hoping for a dvd.

I did this one today and just loved it! Don't worry that it says it's for beginners if you've been doing Pilates for years. This is a solid Intermediate Pilates workout. It's approachable for Beginners, but isn't broken down slowly for explanations like most Beginner Pilates dvds. It flows wonderfully, is full of challenging exercises, and is a pleasure to do with Brooke. Just wonderful!
