It's many years since I first saw this film. It took me back to "The Time" . . . Quite corny and, in my opinion, not as good as A Hard Days Night, but nonetheless a bit of fun.

As you would expect, Martin Scorsese has made a great film of a Stones concert. The cinematography is very good, the featurettes are interesting as are the old recorded interviews (although older Stones fans, like me, will have seen them all before in decades past). However, what makes this film outstanding is the sound quality; it's so much better than in other DVDs of their concerts that I own. You can crank it up if you want to rock out but you can also pick out subtle remarks between the players, as when Keith gives Buddy Guy his guitar at the end of the show-stopping 'Champagne and Reefer'. The song selection illustrates the talents of all band members and guest artists and there should be something in here for everyone. Thoroughly recommended.

Our group of about 100 Seniors are still talking about this beautiful presentation that is so well done by Louis Giglio. His ability to present multitudes of numbers to attempt to illustrate the biggest of things down to the tinest, even in our own body, is amazing. He is truly a God gifted man being used in a tremendous way. Our GOD IS A GREAT GOD.

If there's one thing that John Mayer makes clear on this concert release, it's that he's not just the handsome pop-rock star that he has been painted as throughout his rise to fame. Mayer is really a man of two talents: A knack for catchy singer-songwriter radio hits, and some serious talent on blues guitar to the point where he's played with the likes of Eric Clapton and Herbie Handcock.
"Where the Light Is" works as both a showcase piece and perception-breaker for Mayer, who plays three distinct sets in a single night in L.A. The concert holds an loose and intimate feel, filmed in an appropriately conservative manner to allow viewers to observe the nuances of the performance.
Highlights include a fantastic surprise Tom Petty cover to ... Read More:

One of the best tv shows (series) I've ever seen! Great music from the 80's and a true-to-life perspective of high school, not just from the 80's, but even for today. It's universal - all teachers & students should have to watch & learn! The geeks and freaks are still out there.

I knew by the title-Sordid Lives, and the trailer on the cover, this had to be a funny movie! We all know someone who resembles the characters in this film from the the in-the-closet son to the neurotic mother of the in-the-closet son. It's side splitting funny and Delta Burke puts in a fantastic performance of the put upon wife! It's a must see film!

John Mayer will go down in history as one of the very best guitarists. This gives you a wide variety of John Mayer. Solo, unplugged, incredible blues, and the popular stuff. It covers it all. I really like this DVD. I think very highly of John after this. Well worth the purchase if you like: Blues, Accustic, and or his popular stuff.
