I haven't finished watching John Adams but it is frightening how close we came to losing the Revolutionary War.

The acting is superb and the story very well told.

I highly recommend it.

Watched the movie. I enjoyed it very much. It's like the old time Stargate. Grandfather paradox and Goa'uld. I wished the movie was longer. I pre-ordered one for my collection.

There are lots of movies that I love, that still wouldn't make it to my "Favorites" list. It is reserved for such mixed, and special fare as "Casa Blanca", "To Kill A Mockingbird", and (yes) "K-Pax". "Bucket List" has become it's newest addition.

Even if you hated one (or even all) of these, there's still a good chance you'll love Bucket List. This movie is full of beautiful scenery, hilarity, and true friendship - complete with very real life-questions, and great honesty. While the situation is not a common one, the characters, their problems, hurts, and joys ring very true.

The old "You'll laugh. You'll cry." fits well, in this case, but you're pretty sure to laugh a lot more than you cry. You'll also find yourself ... Read More:

I wanted something that would take off the weight faster than my normal routine of speed walking about 4 miles a week, 5 times a week. I started this video about 2 weeks ago, and have done it about 8 times now, and I must say that it toned up my arms big time and took off the inches in those 2 weeks. My arms are thinner, more defined, and my stomach is flatter... I only wanted to lose about 10 pounds, and I am certain this video will help me get there. I eat the same too, I never changed my diet. This is also coming from someone who never thought she could get herself to exercise...but you also have to really want it to stick with it. Good luck, you will see results.. you have to stick it through beginning to end. Drinks lots of water!

I have always been a great fan of Louise Hay. Her easy, simplistic way of speaking and relating to all walks of life makes her message easy to understand. Louise Hay believes in what she is teaching and her teaching is believable.

I enjoyed the visual concepts on this DVD. The ideas, and philosophy are straightforward. There is nothing self-aggrandizing about Louise Hay or the others who teach.

I loved watching this DVD as it seemed as though I was sitting in the room with many wonderful teachers and the opportunity for learning and growth was phenomenal.

I have recommended this DVD to many as I would to this reader.

Stargate Atlantis - The Complete Fourth Season

After a few shaky moments early on, Atlantis and its characters really developed quite nicely through season 3. It was, however, very unfortunate that two cast changes were made at the end of the 3rd season/beginning of the 4th season. The first was the death of Beckett; the second was the ...loss...death...whatever... of Weir. The result is that the remaining (and additional) characters no longer balance each other out (e.g. brawn vs. brain; intellect vs. action). Bummer...

My family and I absolutely love The Closer. Brenda Leigh Johnson ALWAYS has something up her sleeve, she is funny, relatable, and an overall joy to watch. Her cast is the best yet and Flynn and Provenza are irreplaceable. HOWEVER, keep the gory and blood to minimum if possible. Head Over Heels was an awful episode with way too much gore...and in this season: Ruby was just a little overboard. TRUST ME! If you want to appeal to a bigger audience with people of all ages and ethnicity's keep the gore to a minimum, because the main reason WE ALL watch The Closer is because we see Brenda using her intelligence to solve crimes that appear non-solvable. Keep it coming though-we LOVE IT! :)

Firefly is THE best TV series ever. The characters are wonderful, the ship is realistic, the world is fantastic. Whoever cancelled this show after only one season should be fired!

While I am a huge fan of the Futurama series I have found the last two offerings lacking. The movie format just doesn't seem to work. I thought this one was too hokey, like the writers were just trying too hard. There also seems to be a lack of the intelligent humor that made the television series so great. If you are a fan of the series you'll enjoy seeing more Futurama, but if you are a casual fan or just getting into the series, stick with the Seasons 1-4 DVDs.
