This is a great version of the well known story. The movie is enchanting and takes you to another world. Love to stick this movie in while working around the house.

This movie is not about realism but its an escapist film. The performances are a bit over the top, just like Hepburn/Tracy/Grant type films. The plot is thin and the appeal lies in the creation of pre WW2 London. Adams and McDormand carry the film and the men are mainly supporting their storyline. Adams shows her range as an ambitious singer who uses men to further her career and lifestyle. McDormand plays an out of luck nanny who's still trying to find security. She and Adams have a type of mother/daughter relationship. This type of film is not for everyone as it can become overly sweet and implausible. The trick is to let yourself fall into the fantasy world and enjoy 2 great performances.

The tips on this DVD do work! With a new baby, I don't have time to read the book, so I was happy when my friend told me about this DVD. My baby doesn't have colic, but she does get fussy, like most babies do and she is our first. We already had a series of things to do when fussy time hits, but now we have 5 more tricks. Anything helps when you are trying to make your little angel happy!

I loved this show but kept missing it on HBO so I was really happy when I saw it on sale on Amazon.
This show is very funny but I also realize that it's humor may not appeal to everyone.
And the songs were great.

Let's be honest for a second, when you have three of the biggest comic actors come together in an animated feature, it was destined to be funny. For an animated Dr. Seuss adaptation, this is not just funny but damned hysterical and one of the best CG animated features to date. In recent years, the Dr. Seuss films haven't exactly delivered as expected so I think most people weren't expecting much, but honestly it's really great.

The story focuses around Horton the Elephant (Jim Carrey) who comes across a speck on a clover, on that speck is whoville and run by its Mayor (Steve Carell) who everybody in whoville thinks is crazy, he also struggles to get through to his only son JoJo. Okay, so there's a ton of medical dramas out there. What could possibly make this one stand above the rest?
Everything!
House MD is a series centered at Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Dr. Gregory House, the shows titular character played by Hugh Laurie, is a caustic, rude, arrogant, and a million other nasty adjectives diagnostician and head of the diagnostics department. Doctors Cameron, Chase, and Foreman are in his team. This is a great show that is a show within itself. Not only is there a story every episode, you are also waiting for Charlie to get the next clue to who is all involved in the set up that sent him to prison. I look forward to each and every episode. This was a great buy and I recommend it to all.
