The original Sony jacket has this cheap plastic hinge that broke off after only 6 months. I bought this to replace the original and I am very satisfied with the quality. The leather is softer than the original and it feels more comfortable holding it. The extra pockets are convenient since I put the transit tickets in them when I commute. The shipping is fast (4 days to the west coast).

I had a hard time getting the sync cable in and out plus when I used the car radio tuner/charger, I had to take it off to plug it in.

Executive Case for Sony Reader PRS500 (Pink)

This is very nice leather case, I got one for my wife and I WISH I could get one in black for my own Sony reader for the incredible price of $7.99. What a bargain folks!

It is made of very high quality leather and is much more protective than what comes with the Sony Reader out of the box.

The issues I have with this case are not a big deal, but:

--I wish I could access the memory card slot without removing the case

--I wish I could [more easily] see the charge light which is slightly covered by the case

--I would like for this case to fit into the Sony Cradle since the cradle docking connections are exposed [for some reason..]. But it does not.

This item sometimes squeezes the buttons on the Vision, interfering with operation and control of the player while it's in the case. If you don't close the velcro too tightly, it happens less often. It's almost easier though, to just get the player going and set it to "hold" before putting it in the case. It could've been designed a little better, but it functions well enough now that I'm used to it.
