My daughter got this for Christmas and unfortunately we could not start using it as we did not have internet on our PC at home -- there was nothing on the package to warn us about this. Also, the software that sets up the link to the internet works only with PC -- again the package doesn't warn about this. We did get a link working simply by plugging it into our Mac laptop, so it is now finally working. We use it with iTunes, which the manual says is not possible.

She now loves it and would take it everywhere if we let her. So what if it only holds 100 songs without purchasing another card! For an 8 year old, that is more than enough as she is still into playing the same songs over and over and over again. It may be bigger ... Read More:

Tyco R/C 6.0V Jet Turbo NiCd Battery Pack & Charger

This battery has a higher capacity than most original batteries it will replace, it is extremely inexpensive, and it is readily available from multiple vendors. I cannot believe all these whiners here! If a toy doesn't come with a battery it is YOUR responsibility to read the damn packaging which CLEARLY states that most toys DON'T come with batteries included... harsh reality of modern life, OK? That has NOTHING to do with this battery, so stop leaving stupidly negative reviews! This got my decade-old RAD 2.0 robot back on the road, and that is that. Color me very happy.

We found this device to be wonderful. With the MP3 starter kit, we can put digital photos on the Juice Box. Then our non-verbal daughter who has autism, can scroll through the images and communicate her wants to us. We found the Juice Box durable enough to be transported to and from school for use there as well.

I am disappointed it has been discontinued as it has been invaluable for us.

Juice Box Personal Media Player - Red

I have found another use for this toy. My daughter is non-verbal autistic, and the Juice Box, along with the MP3 starter kit converts into a digital image viewer that my duaghter can scroll through and "choose" what she wants. We use it as a communication tool for her with digital photos. I am heart-broken it's been discontinued as it is such a great device for this specific use. It is also durable enough that we let her take it back and forth to school.
