I use it for work everyday,I work in a warehouse so I haven't tested its distance.One charge(using the lower power channels)lasts usually about 72-80 hours.Sufficient for my needs.

well, this product was good, the sound quality was good BUT the volume is toooo weak, i barely heard it in a medium noisy enviroment.

Amazon still offers a better deal for these 2-way radios. I bought them as a company purchase for some of our job site employees and they seem to really enjoy them. They are pretty durable.

The best purchase I made this year. Combo clock radio/weather on demand is perfect for my lifestyle. I barely have a chance to listen to the news throughout the day. With a touch of the button, I can know what to expect in the next 24 hours. I'm looking forward to winter this year for the fact that I can get the weather any time at any moment and with the large amounts of snow that we get, can determine if I should snow blow in the morning or wait till later on.
It has three memory settings for different radio stations which is adequate. I love the bluelight backlight on the display and the beeps that some people say are annoying can be, but for the most part you get used to it and it's not that big a deal. I would highly recommend the product.

Midland AVPH3 Transparent Security Headsets with PTT/VOX (Pair)

I bought these along with Midland radios to use in the 2 bars that I run so all of my bartenders, door guys and bouncers are always in contact with each other. It gets really loud on weekends when the bars are packed and all of my staff can always hear each other perfectly. We have tried dozens of different radios/headsets in the past, and we could never find headsets that allowed us to hear each other.

Great product, I would recommend to anyone looking for good quality headsets to use with their 2 way radios.

This product has more features than the comparable others. I am still waiting for the bill, I was given a discount of $30 for obtaining a Amazon credit card. Still waiting for the bill after one month. I hope I get the discount and the bill is not more due to getting it late.

Midland 1001Z 2-Way CB Radio

very poor device, It did not even cover more than 1 mile area.
I used it along with Cobra HG A1500. I found "Midland GXT950VP4 5 Watt 42 Channel 30-Mile" much more better coverage and more protable.
Everytime I switch it on goes to the default channel.

This is the best weather radio yet.Easy to program. I like the alarm clock. I use it daily to listen to my local forcast and the alert is always on. I can sleep knowing I will be warned no matter what time it is. Everyone needs one of these little jewels. Very affordable too!

Midland GXT720VP3 2-Way 30-Mile 22-Channel Radio

Don't think you'll get advertised range out of any radio; that's under "perfect conditions" and "line of sight" (ie: over open water)

We use these for hiking trips and "getting lost in the mall" and they work well; we had some 10 mile units and these definately "punch thru" much better.
