I purchased this headset to use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Windows speech recognition. I've been using it for over a month with great success. Although I'm glad it comes with a USB adapter, I don't use it with any of my computers since it works great with all of the built-in jacks I've tried. I've transported a number of times and it's quite nice that faults up into a very small bundle not much larger than a mouse. This fold ability sometimes leads to a sloppy fit and some slipping, but once I get it positioned properly I can go for hours without adjusting it. This is a great value - inexpensive and good quality. I bought two just in case one didn't last too long, but after a few weeks it seems like it just might, so now I use one in the car and one in the home on my house cordless. Pleasantly surprised.

Plantronics Explorer 330 Easy-To-Use Bluetooth Headset for all Bluetooth-Enabled Phones

I like this bluetooth mainly because of the fit. I find it stays comfortably in your ear and doesn't easily fall off. I previously bought a Motorola blue tooth and dropped it about 5 days after I got it, I could no longer get a connection to my phone and pretty much threw it out. I have dropped this about 2 times already and it still works fine. I like that you can easily rotate to put on your other ear because I cannot handle something in my ear for too long. The sound quality is not perfect but I think it is great for the price. I bought one for each of my family members.

Plantronics S12 Corded Telephone Headset System

Being that this is a Plantronic headset I had an expectation of quality. The system itself is wonderful, the headsets are horrible. I wanted to use the over the head unit, first it pulled my hair each time I took it off, then the protective piece that sits against your head keeps falling off making the headset poke into my head.

The other choice is the over the ear holder. Cheap scratchy plastic was used and it's not comfortable.

I've put my own little end on mine and taped it there and I'm only willing to do that because I'm happy with the sound and ease of use. I hope they come out with some other alternative to the crummy plastic used on the headsets!

Yhis was fantastic only problem was it was lost on the second day. So I bought 2 more of them. An alternate means of holding on to then should be offered at the same time.

Plantronics CT12 2.4 GHz DSS Cordless Headset Phone with Caller ID

I have used a headset for years, and couldn't live without it! Radio Shack quit making them, and that is the brand I have bought for years and loved it. The Plantronics has tiny numbers, and when the phone fits into the base, it is nearly impossible to get out in time to get the call before the phone stops ringing!

Plantronics Headset M175C for Mobile & Cordless Phones

I've used both the M170 and M175C headsets extensively with both cordless and cell phones. The 170 is the same except for lacking a listening volume control and mic mute switch on a pod in the middle of the cord.

Both headsets are comfortable enough to wear all day (with headband), sound great receiving and good transmitting, and have effective noise-cancelling. The 170 is simpler and does not have the volume/mute pod swinging around on the cord, and the 175 adds the convenience of these functions. Over a period of years, the volume control can get scratchy, so the 170 lasts longer.

The headset is just OK. Lots of echoing in the headset and it is hard to get the mouth piece to sit comfortably without hitting your chin or mouth.

I actually got this by accident, intending to get a better quality model that cost more. Instead this came, at the higher price of the model I wanted! That aside, this model really didn't work at all for me. Intended to use it to replace an older Plantronics set that came with a portable. It was only a few minutes into a teleconference when people complained about low volume and poor sound quality. Had to switch to the speakerphone. Got a round of applause. Sure, there's always the chance that a particular handset won't work well with a particular phone, but this is actually the first time I've ever had a problem.
