I'm very pleased with this whole experience! I was a little nervous about spending a large amount of money on an item that I could not see prior to purchasing. But Amazon came through.... no problem. The set arrived with a special delivery service that called me prior to arrival so that I would be home. They unboxed it, turned it on to make sure it was working properly, and even offered to take the trash away. All for one of the best prices I could find anywhere. Great job Amazon!

I've been looking at buying a Sony 46XBR4 for about a year, before I chanced on this unit at a local Best Buy. The colors were very sharp, there was hardly a glare, the TOC was unique and the price was fantastic. I've had this unit for close to a month now and switched from Comcast to Direct TV HD. The picture and sound are just beyond my expectations. I've hooked up my xbox360, ps2 and wii quickly. This TV has also improved xbox360 gameplay images and sounds. The images from the xbox360 dvd player are very, very sharp. I watch a lot of tennis and other sports in HD and the quality is lifelike. First off: I like this headset. For $[...], it's an alright deal. It's small, stylish, and pretty discreet compared to older, blocky headsets.

My real issue is with the rebate. Sounds great, doesn't it? Well, I didn't get the "official" rebate insert, which (judging by others' reviews) was supposed to arrive in the box with the headset itself. Despite sending in the downloadable rebate form (why would Amazon offer it if it wasn't valid?) AND THE SERIAL NUMBER FROM THE BOX ITSELF, I was denied the rebate. Basically, if it could happen to me, it could happen to you, so on and so forth. Samsung LN46A550 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

We purchased the Samsung LN46A550 after doing a lot of research, and we bought it from Amazon because (1) they had the best price and (2) we had heard good things about CEVA delivery. Unfortunately, the first unit was DOA, so the CEVA guys boxed it back up while I was on the phone with Amazon. Due to the size and high value of the product, it took a couple extra days longer to get the replacement than would normally be the case (or so I assume), but everything went smoothly and the second unit works perfectly. CEVA was great to work with all the way around.

The TV is an excellent size for our bedroom ... this unit replaced a 36" tube, so the new TV provides a similar image height ... our heads are about 10-11 feet from the TV, which sits high atop a 64" ... Read More:

I've had this TV for about a week. Amazon free shipping delivered in under a week to my CA address. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. SD TV looks only okay, but that's to be expected. (Curiously, I get a better SD picture using the COAX cable, than through the HDMI). The HD picture is superb. (Through cheapo HDMI cables found on Amazon - forget the $50 ones they push in stores) Razor sharp definition. I'm glad I spent the extra bucks to get the 50,000:1 contrast model over the cheaper 30,000:1. Blacks appear deep and dark - a significant improvement over my old 42" 720 LG model. I find myself sticking to the HD channels, which isn't hard, considering the major networks (and my favorite shows) all have their HD versions.
