Product is everything promised and then some. Easy directions and setup, excelant construction and performance. Video/audio output is just great. Easy to use in both playback and record of either medium.
I would buy another if I needed it.

The Toshiba External Harddrive is great. I just love it. There are no problems during the order, everything was on time and in the original packing. The Hard Drive looks very fancy and is very small - so you can take it with you wherever you go. There is a program you can install but it's not necessary, it works without it as well!

Toshiba DR560 1080p Upconverting DVD Recorder with Biult-in Tuner

I have been using this for about 6 months now. Since getting a digital signal, I decided to do away with the VCR and instead get a DVR recorder. After reviewing several brands from Philips to Toshiba, I decided on the Toshiba DR560. From the beginning, this has been an awesome recorder. I have been using DVD+R and DVD-RW discs. These both work perfectly! I have not had any problems. I usually record on the LP mode. That gets me 4 hours of recording on 1 disc. Upon finalizing any recording, I am able to view the recordings on my Pioneer DVD player as well as computer.

I have not used the upscale portion of this product, so I cannot make a comment.

I purchased this Toshiba Satellite L305-S5907 laptop three weeks ago from Amazon and I've been impressed. Amazon shipped my machine quickly via UPS. It was on sale for about 24 hours so I got mine for $579 with no tax, and shipping was included. This is the best price I've found on a laptop with these specs. The Toshiba is fast, quiet, two pounds lighter than my 7 year old Dell, and looks great. I've had no troubles with Vista Premium working with this machine. My only complaints are the glare on the glossy screen, if you're outside, and the glossy plastic case, which looks good, but shows fingerprints easily. We bought a TV/DVD combo from Toshiba as a gift from Santa last year for my 8-year old so that she could watch her Full House and Lizzie McGuire movies on it in her bedroom. Unfortunately, after 4 months, the tv's picture stopped working. She told me to send it back to Santa, so off it went to our local authorized Toshiba repairman, as you cannot return these items to Amazon after a certain period of time. We were told by Toshiba that the tv was under full warranty for parts and service. The repairman said no. We would have to pay at least $80 in service repairs. Well, it's been six months and we have yet to see our tv. The part that was supposedly broken was out of stock. Toshiba DR410 1080p Upconverting Tunerless DVD Recorder
I have been very pleased with this recorder. I record tv programs & get a pretty good picture using dvd-rw & dvd-r in EP mode. This recorder is easy to use & is very dependable. It can read most discs unless they are really messed up. I haven't had to use any discs for coasters as I did with my previous recorder. I highly recommend this recorder.
