good sound quality and well built boom box for xm portability. I little larger than I thought it would be, but otherwise good. Jack for external antenna is a nice feature as well

I was looking for a 5-terminal relay because I need the 87a terminal to switch something off versus switching it on. This is listed with a 5-wire harness and I foolishly thought it was a 5-terminal relay and it was not. I am sending it back.
In our '96 Saturn SC2 the factory speakers just couldn't handle the bass that the factory stereo could put out! These things fixed the problem instantly, and I imagine could easily handle some amps to give them even more kick. I am pretty sure the lower ohm rating, 4 ohms instead of 6 ohms for the factory ones, means that they are louder at a lower volume level than the factory speakers, while I know that lower ohms can increase the number of speakers on a single circuit. While I am not a heavy duty audiophile, I do think that Pioneer is a very high quality product, for the price range. If you are really picky, you could go with their D- or even PRS- series, but you'll pay about $200-$300 a pair.
I had almost bought this one. After a trip to Boston with my friend's unit, it is clear that I won't need it forever.
Good things first: big screen and a good map (from what I saw), but that's all.
Bad things: acquire signal very slowly. At one time, we were in downtown boston, and it took nearly ten minutes to get signal. most of time, it started slowly, quite slowly.
secondly, voice prompt sounds nice and polite, but confusing sometimes. when we were driving on PA turnpike, and it kept saying "turn right" when we are not supposed to exit and there is no turn at all, this happened also when we were in a tunnel of Boston.
There is no battery and I would say this is the most fatal mistake. You can not use it unless your ... Read More:
Open box, plug it in, attach the XM receiver with a simple click, turn it up. This product does what it says it will do, sounds pretty good for the size, is lightweight without the batteries, and just plain works. I got it for under $60, and using the mini phone plug headset out to my real stereo speakers, I have XM at home with no fuss. I do wish it had a remote, as the volume buttons are not the most sensitive. The large antenna picks up my XM signal really well, and again, the sound quality is not bad for it's weight. Great buy!

I bought this product thinking that it would help me to go running outside with my Inno and still get reception. This product completely destroyed my reception. Do not buy it if you want an XM Radio signal.
This product is everything that it was advertised to be. My wife loves the product and finds it much easier to use than previous Kenwood versions. I am a Garmin fan and love the ability to upgrade the maps with software upgrades as opposed to the DVD versions. I would highly recommend this product.
i don't know but I seem to go through an inverter every season. This one lasted only one season before I had to replace it as the last one (MAXXsst, 500w) had also lasted a season. I was only powering up a laptop (65 watts). I now have a Whistler 500w and have not used it for a full season.
