Nexus Car Kit

I haven't had any problems with the car kit so far. The clip doesn't fit very well on the vent in my car, and I don't really have a spot to stick the mount to, but the clip works well enough so it's not a big deal. I'm sure most people can use either the vent clip or the mount to their satisfaction. I have the antenna on my trunk, and my car antenna is in the front, and it works with minimal static in a large urban area. The cords are long, and the magnet is very strong.

If anyone is looking for the right frequency to use, this should help, although it is for Sirius, so they might not like us XMers using it.

These speakers are cheap. Easy to Install but sounds quality is horrible after a certain point. I wouldn't reccomend these at all. Spend a little more money and get something you'll enjoy rather than put up with.

I upgraded my factory ready car stereo with this, and that for a very reasonable price. I am very happy with the sound, even without changing the speakers, there is a huge jump in the sound quality.

I have only one gripe with this stereo. Setting the equalizers is a pain. Basically, the controls take a little getting used to, and that I can deal with, but the equalizers are just plain painful. I decided to just leave the factory settings.

Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

I've had Sirius radio for a few years and love it a lot but found that my house is not positioned in the best place to receive the satellite signal. There's only one location where I can place the antenna for reception and that required leaving the cable strung along an open, hardwood floor. I bought this unit because my stereo receiver is placed in the center of my house and not near a window or door. I wasn't enthusiastic about running the antenna cable through the wall. The Echo SIR-WRS1 repeater and receiver unit are about the size of an Altoid mint tin but thinner and installation takes about five minutes. Delphi SA10000 XM SKYFi Radio Receiver

I have been an XM Radio subscriber since July of 2003. My original radio was a SKYFI. It was great. In July my two year subscription expired, and I renewed for three years. In September I decided I wanted to use the service in a second vehicle. In order to use the same radio in both vehicles I was forced to Purchase a SKYFI II. I was told all I would have to do is switch the radio to my existing account. I did as told and for the last four weeks I have had no service.

I have spent at least five hours on the phone with XM's Customer Care and, like a previous reviewer, I have received nothing but blow off answers.

There is a problem with their software that does not allow the switch to the new radio. I have asked them ... Read More:

The UI for this head unit is completely useless if the unit is actually mounted in a car and you try to use it while driving.

- the right multi-function knob that can be pressed down, rotated, or moved left, right, up and down cannot be used with precision while driving. You end up skipping to the next play list rather then pausing, or selecting the next menu item rather than the next menu, etc.

- the display is too dim and grainy to see in daylight.

- the embedded software UI is poorly designed as far as mobile while-driving use is concerned.

I will toss this unit and reinstall the 5 year-old Excelon that actually worked. Kenwood didn't just miss the target with this new series of units, they totally missed the mobile ... Read More:

It was shipped quickly and brand new in the box. It has been awesome since I got it I have really enjoyed the quality and picture along with the features. I have a full system so putting this in really made everything sound so much better. It has all the features needed for a great sound output!
