This camcorder is a joy to use. The video quality is really amazing especially for the price. This was my 2nd HD camcorder. The first was a convenience, impulse purchase of a Panasonic HD-9 from Costco. Took it back-the video wasn't very good and image stabilization didn't work.
Then I did a lot of research and concluded HF100 was for me. No HV30 because of tape issues and microphone picks up hi-pitch tape noise. No HF10 because SD cards are so cheap anyway.
This camera is easy to operate, though you will want practice if you plan to navigate through the plethora of very useful custom settings. The screen brightness is great, it's useable in even the brightest outdoor settings. The image stabilization is really terrific. If you have ... Read More:

before i go into the review let me state i own a Denon 3808, Onkyo 805, and this Onkyo 606

Out of all those 3 the 606 is the best value, with 4 hdmi input. that are capable of upconverting to 1080P. But there are some things that you don't get with with the 606 that you do with the 805. some of which include a power plug to plug into a fan ( if you don't already know onkyo's get VERY VERY hot) and you will want a small computer fan along and/or plenty of room to breathe (NO STACKING). As for power i challenge anyone to find speakers that it can't handle, you won't find any. Sennheiser HD 202 Headphones

I purchased these headphones after reading many, many reviews, and I generally agree with them. The headphones are comfortable for me (my ears fit completely inside the cups). They are also reasonably durable; I've already stepped on them twice by accident, and was able to snap them back together. As for the sound, I love my music but am no audiophile. Still, the sound is good. My computer volume tends to be on the loud side, so I was worried I wouldn't be able to adjust them correctly, but this was not a problem. Of course, the headphones sound best loud, but probably best not to play them that way too often!

Apple iPod nano 8 GB Green (3rd Generation)

I bought my ipod with all the money i earned for Christmas. It started out working beautifully. I was in love :) Then a few months after I bought it, it would just shut down on me. I would charge it overnight, sometimes even 2 days and it would shut down after 10 minutes. It really made me mad. I deleted all of my pictures and videos to see if that would help. It didn't.

I love this ipod except for the battery. If you have patience, you should get it. If you love throwing things across the room when the don't work...stay away from the nano.

The headphones work great and let me not bother my family by playing the TV loud. For the cost they are a bargan compared to other similar products. The range also lets me walk around my house and still hear the TV program.

Garmin Map Update of 2009 City Navigator North America NT

I have owned my Garmin gps for over two years and have loved it. In addition, I use my gps both personally and professionally in home repair. One of the main reasons that I bought this update was that I couldn't find addresses in the newer subdivisions which are 2-5 years old. The update didn't improve that issue at all and for the first time the gps gave me wrong directions (told me to turn down a one way street in a old established neighborhood). To be quite honest, I haven't seen any benefit to buying the update, as a result I am very disappointed.

I bought this player after having 2 iPods die on me - one because of the battery and the other because of the hard drive. I'd happy to have found this Sansa player because it is a perfect lightweight and reliable player.

CONS:
Low resolution video screen
On-the-go deleting is slow
Not many accessories to be found

It wasn't easy finding a white, 3 foot USB extension to match my iMac keyboard. This one is perfect, it's somewhat heavy duty (compared to the cable running from the keyboard). Just right when you need a little extra cable length, but don't want excessive wires cluttering up your space.
