The Mio Night Rider is very good GPS and has excellent features.
But I was somewhat disappointed with female voice during the turn by turn navigation. I thought the navigation voice would be the voice of KITT.

1. You can buy a wireless hearthate monitor so it will log the data. But for what? It is not compatible with garmin training center!!! That's unacceptalbe.
2. The beep sound is to low. You almost can't hear it.
3. What about a wrist strap or armband? Some bigger units have one. The is no option buying a wrist strap.
I'm very disappointed with my unit.
I sold my old Forerunner 201 thinking Oregon would replace it better for bike biking activites. Why have Barometric altimeter and elec compass since you can't see those graphs in training center? Shame on you Garmin.

GARMIN GPSmap 276C GPS Receiver

This claims to be "perfect for land or water" in its description, but that is not the case at all. I took this deep-sea diving (I was hunting for monsters), and as soon as I got underwater the unit completely stopped working! I called the customer service, and they said it was "user error". Me and my new monster pets are very upset.

I read other reviews on this GPS to help me decide on a GPS which would serve onboard my Boston Whaler and also for my Geocaching activities.
I couldn't find anything but great reviews and,I will now add to those positive reports.
I could not be happier with this GPS. It is the most accurate one I've ever used, it has great features ,which don't take a long time to learn, and long battery life. I also bought the protective case and I would also recommend it to protect the GPS.
If I were leading a cheer, I'd say "GOOOOOOO Garmin 60 Cx "

I wanted a GPS device so I could stop pacing off yardages on the course and have an enjoyable game and make correct club selections. I compared quite a few and wanted a entry level GPS, certainly Igolf Neo fits the bill.

Pros:
1. Great entry-level price.
2. You don't know it's in your pocket.
3. Fast downloads to sync courses to handheld device.
4. Lowers your handicap by making accurate club selections on GPS distances.
5. Igolf website user friendly.
6. 20 channels

Cons:
1. Only holds 8 courses on the Neo.
2. Lots of ghost readings, 9999 to front of green.
3. Discrepancies in distances to front, back, middle of greens.
4. Buttons hard to push.
5. Annual membership fees.

Garmin nüvi 260 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished)

I purchased a "factory refurbished" Garmin 260 as a birthday gift for my daughter. It arrived promptly and in excellent condition. The first problem came when I tried to register it online with Garmin. Sure enough, the unit was already registered to someone else and a call to Amazon resulted in the same "You can send it back to us" reply that an earlier customer reported. There is no warranty on a factory refurbished unit according to customer service.

I took the GPS out for a ten-mile test drive and encountered several suggested wrong turns and directions to take a dead-end road that was not even accessible from the highway I was on. Since I purchased the unit for my daughter who often travels alone, I'm concerned that the Garmin unit might not be the best ... Read More:

I had been waiting for a unit that would assist me in finding addresses, giving me turn by turn directions and then be usable for geocaching. I thought this was the one. However, the two features are not so well integrated. Works like all others for navigating the roads. But if you want to navigate the roads to get close to a geocache and then find it offroads, you must program a POI for driving and then program a Waypoint to find it. Not easy if you want to set up about 10 or more of them. And then Magellan has its own format so you can't just download them from the internet into your box, you must hand enter. Let me start by saying that I currently own and use several different GPS units: Garmins Nuvi 750, Colorado 400t, Rino 130 (a pair) and a Dash Express (I've also owned Garmins 2720, 2820, Nuvi 350, and a 60CSx in the recent past). I have so many of them because I use them for different purposes:

* Automobile navigation: I travel all over the country and always take a GPS with me for use in my rental cars.
* Walking in urban areas: I love to stroll around great cities and a good GPS not only keeps me from getting lost, it helps me to find areas of interest.
