The voice tone is very clear, the ring can be set to loud and the caller ID is a bonus. The receiver is easy to knock down so it is best installed in an "out of the way" location. A great phone that works when the electricity is out.

I bought my HP-12C way back in december 1987, and except for replacing the batteries, it just keeps crunching out the numbers. I've had many, many calculators since late 70's and the HP-12C has been my favorite and I consider it to be the best calculator that will ever be engineered. Just my opinon..........

Very clear recordings on the best quality settings. Ridiculously huge capacity. I did a test, battery lasted 10.5 hours. Easy to use/understand how to set up after reading the directions. Chose this one over a competitor because this one records in MP3 format. Just drag the file to your computer, play it in iTunes, transfer to a CD, all easy. One person commented you cannot move the recorder about while recording - that's true - it'll pick up the recorder being dragged about or being banged about. So if it's in your pocket, it'll pick up any movement.

Canon Pixma iP4500 Photo Inkjet Printer (2171B002)

This is a nice home printer that prints good color maps etc. (Of course the ink is a little expensive, but that is normal these days.)
These Canon printers seem to clog less than Epson when you use them infrequently.

This is not about DPI or anything like that. We're not saving the world or even trying for a very large or accurate representation of it. However! When you can use your phone to take a picture of someone and instantly print it on a printer they're holding in their hands, the look on the face of the subject makes this printer TOTALLY WORTH IT.

You may want to wait for v2, however, because you'll probably inherit broader support from bluetooth and pictbridge devices (both of mine work, no problem, however my usb/bluetooth dongle thinks this printer is a PIM or something and wants to exchange business cards or something with it). meh.

I purchased the SL82558 base unit with 5 handsets at Sam's Club, then later added 4 more handsets (SL80108) from Amazon. I spread them out in various buildings around my ranch. The furthest building from the base unit is about 200'. It works great, even at that distance, clean and clear. I do not yet know what the distance limit is. The intercom and call transfer features are handy and easy to use. The units are compact, and the buttons are easy to read and press. Adding additional handsets to the base station is simple. I do not use the answering machine capability, so I won't comment on that. My only wish is that the handset would display the time-of-day. Back to basics. This Olympus DVR works just fine for recording mock therapy sessions in my psychology class. It's easy to use. The sound reproduction is clear. It has a long battery life.

I'm not a technie or a teenager. So navigating digital equipment isn't organic to me. I need instructions. The more cookbook-like, the better. Before I bought this model, I considered purchasing a similarly priced Sony model because after all I had a number of other Sony products in my audio visual stable. Epson Artisan 800 Wireless Photo All-in-One Printer (Black)(C11CA29201)

The Artisan 800 is just what the title says, simply Amazing. The installation of the software took the longest but once it was done it worked immediately out of the box. Wireless bliss. That's all I can say. I installed the software on my IMac. To be able to print without having it attached is pure joy. Not only that but I then went downstairs to one of my pc's and printed to it as well. There simply were no problems in the installation. It truly worked right out of the box. No calls to tech support, no issues to deal with, it just worked.
