I like the video the only problem is i wish you could make it zoom in and out and have adio. The camera itself was great as far as video. I am going to try something else that hooks up to my pc with a reciever. I recieved everything on time which was nice.

Am using the Q-See PCI DVR card with an HP computer that is dedicated to home phone (VoIp), Skylink Security system and the Q-See 4 channel card for surveillance cameras. The card installed with ease and has met expectations. It allowed me to keep from buying a dedicated DVR and use a computer I had around the house (Windows XP OS, 2.7 gig single processor, 2 gig ram, 320 external USB hard drive that offers ample storage for 4 cameras). The software running the card allows for motion detection and 1, 2 or 4 split screen mode. In researching and using various security cameras and equipment, I have found that you are pretty much on your own with the DIY home surveillance set-up as ALL instructions with ALL brands I use leave a lot to be desired. ... The video quality is adequate for what it's for. I don't plan to make movies with it. I like being able to see the front and back of my house. However, the user manual is worthless. The biggest drawback is that the wireless cameras totally knock out my wireless home network. Laptops put next to the access point can't find a signal. It uses the same 2.4 GHz band as home routers. Swann said there is no solution, buy a wired system. Defeats the convenience feature, doesn't it? It could possibly interrupt your neighbor's as well. This must go for any other wireless system.

I gave this product a low score because of the wireless network problem.

I got this one for my porch two days ago. As a first try I set up everything in my living room, with the camera on the fireplace mantel and the receiver box on my TV stand and connected to the TV. The setup was extremely easy, but right away I got intense white stripes rolling continuously across the screen. The camera was 7 ft away from the receiver box with nothing in between, and all 3 channels had the same problem. Eventually I figured out that the receiver box needed to be closer than 1 ft from the camera for the stripes to go away! This is insane! My guess is that it was caused by inteference from wireless networks around my apartment, even though I myself don't have wireless, and turning my cell phone off did not make any difference. I'm ... I really like the look of the Designers Edge L-255pw 15 1/2 inch motion activated outdoor light. However I did not receive the light as pictured. The one I received has a long stem extending down from the center of the bottom of the lamp. The picute shows a very short stem. I kept it as the electrician was ready to install it to the side of my home.The pricing seemed fair, and it does look great!

Make sure it is at the right distance. I guess when you listen long enough it sounds a little mechanical should make bark more random. But I would buy another.

I am still think this is a nice device but be carefull where do you buy it. I bought it on Amazon and it was defective. I saw somebody else's review with the same problem and after I got a defective replacement I do not think this was just bad luck. It took me a long time to set them up wireless as I expected because I am not a IT guy but that this happened because the cameras were defective make me mad. Now (just a couple of months later since I got the camera from Amazon and hardly use of it) I will have to pay shipping again to get the manufacturer replace it due that the guarantee with Amazon is expired. Well, maybe I wouldn't want to get another one from Amazon anyway.

I bought this product last month, and it is easy to be installed. I am happy with the product, after installed in my front door, it work good.

It has three small buttons can judge the sense of light, time period and day light. That is enought for normal home useage.

The reason I didnot put 5 star is: If it came with light bulds, I can immediately use it, it would be better. Otherwise, I need went to shopping for buld, it cost some time. :)
