For the pricing of these cameras I expected a little better picture. The overall picture is good, Night vision alright, but when it comes to details you can not even read a car plate 10 ft away. The motion sensor in this carmera works good also. I did try the lower priced camera(One Step Down) and did not like the picture at all. I wired and ran 8 cameras to my main computer using a Q-See PCI-E Card. After reseachering, to my amazement, that for the money this setup/cameras works good for home or business.

I bought this item from amazon, installed it as the manual shows. It worked wrong from the beginning. The incandecent light was going on and off by itself with no reason.
I returned the item to amazon, and I still have not see my credit back. Stay away from this product

Works Great and very easy to install. Much less expensive than seperate remotes for children, and parents/in-laws when visiting. Nice to have when on a walk and you've forgotten the house keys.

These are great cameras for the price, but are never as easy to install as the instructions indicate. Plus, support comes from overseas and the support personnel are not always fluent in English making it even more difficult. This is especially true when they are using scripts to try and help you. Product very good support not so good.

We hooked it up and got heavy interference from the wi-fi network. Turned the wi-fi off and the interference went away - but reception was still not perfect.

Also, the fact you have to take the batteries out to plug in the adapter on the receiver makes this a sub-par system.

Luckily there are (finally!) better products out there now! 3 years ago when we had our first baby, the options for video monitors were very slim. We now have a safety 1st 900 mhz set up that has great picture and good sound, and zero interference from the wi-fi (though it does not have outstanding reception).

Look around and you'll find a better option.
