I used chestnuts from a jar or can for the Thanksgiving stuffing every year because I don't have the time to roast and peel. Other brands leave a lot of the hard black membranes on the nuts, so I still had to pick through them. Not this brand...they were very clean, fresh and made preparation that much easier.

these are very tasty very convenient slap them on a dish and bake for 25 minutes- they turn out inside creamy potatos with a crunchy crust little portions of heaven. i really am glad i tacked these on my order.

D'Artagnan Black Truffle Butter - 8 oz

I really enjoyed this product in my little experiment to find out what truffles taste like. It arrived quickly and well refrigerated. The taste sensation (first on toast points) was great. But I found that the flavor went "off" after just a few days in the fridge, so if I order it again, I will either plan to use it quickly or freeze it between usages instead of just refrigerating it.

I am a complete novice on gourmet foods, my experience with truffle butter may not apply to anyone else...Larry.

Wild Game Pack (Venison, Kangaroo, Buffalo) - Wisconsin Cheeseman

These looked interesting to try, though other than the kangaroo it didn't seem too exotic (my folks made venison sausage when I was a kid and I have buffalo from time to time). The ingredients for each including beef and pork, such that they tasted more like regular sausage with a slightly different flavor than something unique from your standard pork/summer sausage.
