The Thai Kitchen products for me are usually a cut above the other Thai shelf products, and the green curry paste is no exception. I use this mostly for preparing Thai chicken saté with peanut sauce. One caveat though is that it is very spicy, and often the recipies call for a quantity that will be overwhelming once the dish is served. I recommend using the green curry paste sparingly the first go-around until you know how much you really want to use.

I am so picky about tomato sauces that I usually make my own. Dave's Gourmet Organic Red Heirloom Tomato Sauce is the absoluate, hands down, best! It tastes so good, and the beauty of it is that there is nothing unwholesome in it - just a lot of delicious organic foods and their flavors. the texture is a little chunky (nicely so), there is no sour tomato taste, everything is balanced, not too much salt or flavor enhancers or cover-ups. It's just super delicious from the first to the last bite. The fact that it is organic is a huge plus.

I've tried many different sauces over the years and this is absolutely the best by far. The only bad news is it's expensive. For me, it's worth it. For you, I'd suggest trying one jar and decide for yourself.

Blood Orange Concentrate

While more of a puree than a juice concentrate, this wonderful product did exactly what it was purchased to do .. it produced an awesome margarita! Deliciously different, blood orange margaritas make for a wonderful summer drink. I would buy this product again.

English Double Devon Cream

OK, what is Double Devon Cream? Double Devon Cream Butter is made in Southern England using traditional churning methods, which produces a rich, very lightly salted butter. It is somewhat thinner and more spreadable than clotted cream, and has somewhat less fat.

I just love Double Devon Cream! It is delicious, and goes excellently on all manner of muffins and scones. If you want to really treat yourself, bake up some scones, and eat them right out of the oven, spread with Double Devon Cream. I highly recommend it!

Perhaps you could compare it to chicken liver pate, with more of a fishy taste. I absolutely love this and normally eat it on toast in the morning though it is also good on salty crackers. The only people i know who like it are South Africans.
