Braun Series 3 370 Men's Shaver

I have a Braun razor that I've had for about 25 years or so. I found someone in Portland, OR to work on it, and had the battery, foil and cutting bar replaced (they're no longer available at retail outlets). It does a great job on my light beard,very close, no irritation, but is ineffective on longer hairs. Anything you miss for a day or two needs other work before the razor can cut it. Finally I dropped it on a tile floor in a hotel and it would only run when I squeezed it. I decided to break down and buy a new razor. I had used a triple head medium priced Phillips Norelco. It was quiet, and did super job of cutting longer hairs, but it didn't shave me nearly as close as my tired old Braun. It did a terrible and irritating job in my ... Read More:

Braun Series 5 8985cc Men's Shaver

This shaver looks great and cleans itself well, but it doesn't give a super close shave. I'm aware that electric shavers normally don't give a very close shave, but all the reviews and ads made this one out to be the messiah of all shavers so I expected more.

I thought this would be a great razor but the shave is not good. My old Norelco does a much better and cost a lot less.

very useful one . i liked it very much. the hair growth visibly decreased and also the quality of hair improved in comparision to the hair u get if u shave or use hair removing cream.

its a little painful but for sure worth a try and then u will like it use it regularly.

This is beyond a doubt the best shaver I've ever owned. There's no need to stretch the skin or to make multiple passes, and the close and smooth shaves come without any skin irritation. The cleaning facility also works well.

This is such a savior when comparing to shaving. It does hurt the first time, but it is much like that of waxing. Much cheaper than waxing!!! I am hooked. I have had years of problems with shaving my legs and I am so happy with this product.

my previous epilator was the 5681 model by Braun. It worked pretty well but was rather painful. I saw this model and decided to give it a go.
Its smooth - the addition of tweezers make the epilation process less painful. It does included a number of heads for different body parts. I also love the fact that you can charge up the piece and the charge keeps for a fair long time [avg - 40 mins].
