This product has great taste and is a very good option as complementary meal while working out or diet supplement, I don't give a 5 start to this because it does have to many carbohydrates, it would be better with less carbs and more protein and good fats.

I can't believe someone actually likes this stuff. They must have been drinking something different than me. I'm not going to question the quality of the product. But, the quality doesn't matter if you can't get past the taste. The first time I tried it, I actually thought that I had purchased a bad one or that it had expired on the shelf. Subsequent attempts at the product were all the same. There are other products out there that are of high quality that actually taste good. Those who remember the saccharine diet drinks of the early 80's and 70's will know what I'm talking about if I were to mention the bitter after taste this stuff has. So, unless you enjoy that kind of flavor, I would try something else.

Hello I am considered a hard-gainer and am in the process of putting on the bodyweight to increase my lean muscle mass. At this point I am only using a SINGLE serving a day (4 scoops with milk). This is all that is required for staying about 500 calories above my basal metabolic rate (go above it and you will gain weight, go below it and you will lose weight). I calculate this value every month because I notice my caloric requirements increase as I gain in weight. I also evenly space 5-6 frequent meals 300-400 calories. During workout days I drink whey protein for muscle repair along w/ L-glutamate after the workout. I keep my workouts simple HEAVY compound movements (ie. squats, deadlift, bench, military press). Starting this product at 185 ... Read More:

I bought the Peach flavor with out testing it, risky but it turned out great. The peach flavor has a very mild taste, you can barely taste it which is what I wanted. I recommend the flavor if you're not sure.
Performance wise it is amazing, my legs flat out do not get sore and I bike ride every trip bare minimum 6+ miles. This stuff is amazing and it really does work to the point I won't bike ride with out it now.
Overall it is easy on the stomach, I haven't felt sick or iffy when using it. The only side effect it has is you might feel a little gassy after the ride down time, nothing serious but that's my experience.

Optimum Nutrition, Nitro Core 24, Sensational Cinnamon Roll 6lb (I haven't tried this flavor, but Chocolate and Cookies and Cream are delicious.)
This is a long review, but I hope potential customers will find this helpful.
I am a lean muscle sort of "builder." I have been strength training for a couple years now, and have tried numerous supplements and products. So, "bulking up" isn't my interest, though those reading this review might be precisely into that.
However, I DID use this product (down to the last ounce) and have a few things to say about it.
Some "obvious positives" aren't exactly positive when you take everything into context. The creatine in CytoGainer is NOT the highest quality (try ethyl ester), ... Read More:

The ingredients they put in this stuff really helps out a lot with gaining muscle. I can easily notice the difference in gains once I started using this product. The downside is it doesnt taste good AT ALL. I plug my nose and chug. Do not buy the Cookies and Cream, the chocolate is much better.
I'm almost done with my 3 pound jug of Muscle Milk Light and have to say that I'm happy with this product and plan to buy more. It tastes great, fills me up and I think it's helping me get stronger. I can definitely say that I'm getting stronger. I'm sure that is the result of several factors. One being this product.
The product does not taste like a nutrition shake from a powder. It has helped me maintain my body weight during the extreme conditioning and workout plan that I have with my collegiate team.
The product was shipped within the time frame that it was suppose to arrive.
