This foil shaver was rated a "Best Buy" in Consumer Reports, but I found it less effective than the old rotary electric I'd been using. It misses numerous whiskers, even after repeated strokes. The charging-alert light comes on sooner than expected, and it was only after receiving the shaver that I learned its battery is not replaceable, which means that when it dies the shaver is finished. Remington says it should last 4 to 5 years, but that sounds iffy. Also, if you have to plug it in for a recharge so often, you might as well use a corded razor to begin with.

For the price I think this is a really great razor considering I have seen many much more expensive electric ones. It gets the job done but you have to go over the spot you are shaving a few times. I like it because you can shave pretty quickly without having to get wet. It is possible to use this as a wet or dry shave though I have only used it dry. Another thing I like about it, is that it is easy to clean unlike my last electric razor it comes with a brush and you can just pop the top open and brush the hair out. It seems to hold a charge well, fits nicely in your hand and has an easily accessible on/off switch. Overall I think it is a great deal for the price and I would buy it again!

Remington SP-69 MS2 Foil Screen & Cutter Blade Head

I found the process of replacing the screens not the easiest. The picture that is on the replacement package is so small that you need a microscope to see what the steps are all about. You can not purchase the screens without the cutters. I only need screens yet I am forced to purchase the entire cutters and screens for over $25.00 Canadian. If I had done my homework in finding out what the replacement parts cost then I would not have purchased this shaver. I could buy a cheaper throw away shaver at the discount refurbished stores for a lot less and for under $25.00 have gotten a new shaver altogether that I could throw away at a cheaper rate than purchasing replacement parts from Remington.

Remington Wet 2 Straight 2" Wide Plate Wet/Dry Straightening Iron

I bought this to be able to save time drying my hair and then straightening it. However, I found it took too long using this flat iron to really dry my hair, even though it's fairly short and only slightly wavy. It works ok on damp hair, though. I like at least being able to use it on damp hair. I did find it heavier and bulkier than other models (that only work on dry hair). Something about the design has caused me to burn my fingers a couple of times, something that never happened with my old flat iron. Overall, however, the model does deliver, straightening damp or dry hair, being able to control the temperature depending on your hair. Remington Short Cut Clipper

Truth be told? I ordered this for my cat. I admit it. But now I only use it on my head.

This has got to be one of the most interesting hair clipper ideas I have ever seen. It's certainly quirky, but it works, and it works well.

I have an Oster professional trimmer that I love, but there was one day at the end of the summer where I was in a hurry and didn't feel like unpacking it. I really needed a trim, so I took this Remington, which I had purchased, as I said, for my long-haired cat, and, having not used it on the cat yet, I tried it myself. I put on the plastic guide, set it on the "longest" hair setting, and went to town.

And it actually did a really good job. Seriously.

Remington SP-5 Pre-Shave Talc Stick Face Saver - For all Men's shavers

This product makes an electric shaver worth having. It smooths the shaving experience and prevents razer burn. If you buy it I recommend shaving one last time with a razer then use your electric shaver with face saver everyday for a week while your face hair adjusts (it'll get softer over that week).

I hated my electric razer for years until buying face saver and recommend it highly. Shame you can hardly find it in many stores. One stick lasts years though.

Remington BHT-2000 High Precision Men's Body Hair Groomer

Overall, I was very pleased with this product. I had been searching for a body hair shaver for a while, and this did the trick nicely. The adjustable trimmer is able to cut hair well to different lengths, and it is very easy to clean. I haven't tried the shaver yet, but it is a nice little accessory. The only problem occurs if you aren't careful when you remove the adjustable trimmer head, as it can cut sensitive areas pretty easily, so watch out! The product is pretty small and easily stored, and it looks sleek as well. Very pleased!
