The earrings were well made but totally lacked any sparkle. The diamonds looked more like pieces of dark glass and my wife has not even worn them. It may have been on sale but still was not worth the $100 I paid for it. The way it was rated: J-K Color and 12 -13 Clarity does not mean anything to me (and I am sure not to most anyone). If I had been able to see a picture of different clarities and color so I could have compared them I would not have bought them. The picture that WAS available is totally misleading. Don't waste your money. (The reason I have not returned them is because I am very busy right now and to find something to pack it in, go to the post-office, stand in line, insure it etc just was too much and I was so angry I never wanted ... I bought these for my girlfriend during the sale and the price was GREAT. I was unsure about purchasing at first after reading the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They came in a navy blue box (the kind you get at stores)- not a bag. With the naked eye these look great and sparkle wonderfully. Initially one looked a little dull but it was just dirty (odd) but I wiped it with my shirt (high tech, you know) and it cleaned right off to a brilliant sparkle. The backings worked just fine they weren't too loose. I think Amazon has stepped up their game in this department. 1/3 cttw looks healthy and is not too small or obnoxiously large on her ears. This product definitely deserves more than two and half stars! [...]. The price was the best I could find, so I still decided to buy it, and I am glad I did. I chose free shipping, although Amazon upgraded it to two-day shipping. It only took 4 days from the time I placed the order to the day it arrived. The earrings are beautiful and sparkly. Since I don't know much about diamonds, I had them appraised and their quality is exactly as stated. I am satisfied with this product and Amazon's service. Why didn't I give it 5 stars, though? I only had this product a few months and I don't know how it will hold up.

The earrings were a good price, but I would have preferred to pay more and get a better quality diamond. Unfortunately, buying in Canada requires additional expenses - broker fees, duty taxes etc. It would not have been worth it to return and buy better.
