I got this to sneak a read on my Kindle in the middle of the night and not wake up MDH and it works a treat! I love the snaky neck and the light it puts out is beautiful--but not so bright it interferes with my husband's sleep. Great product!

This thing works GREAT on my two Labrador Retrievers. It gets down to the undercoat and removes piles and piles of hair. A regular dog hairbrush cannot do this. An amazing product!

When I was shopping for a new vacuum I really wanted to check out the Dyson's, needless to say I was sticker shocked at the prices. The most comparable and more affordable vacuum was this one from Dirt Devil. It has great suction, is easy to use, not too heavy. I would recommend this one to friends. The only complaint I have is the hose attachment slides off a little too easily, and I will notice it off while I am vacuuming, which in result I am not getting any suction and have to redo the area I thought was done. But that may just be user error. ;-)

All I can say is "WOW!" After reading about this blower/vacuum in Consumer Reports, and how well it worked, I decided to purchase it. I searched all over the internet, but found that Amazon's "amazing" price of just under $70 was unbeatable. That included free shipping. My blower/vac arrived the next day. Lucky me! Anyhow, It has PLENTY of power. Matter of fact, it has more power than the gas powered backpack blower I had, which pleasantly surprised me. I used the Toro to clean my gutters, and blow and vacuum my leaves, and it did all 3 jobs easily. Again, I'm "blown away" with the amount of power it has. The only "inconvenience" is having to pull an extension cord around with it, but you can solve that by buying the longest extension cord you can find. ... Read More:

This is a nice little heater. It works well. I set it by my feet at work and soon I'm warm. The only thing that would make it better is a timer.

Oster 4207 Electric Wine Opener

This wine opener is extremely easy to use. It looks ok to set out on the counter all the time, so it's convenient and much harder to lose than regular wine openers! Sometimes doesn't work on plastic corks, but that doesn't detract from the usefulness. I highly recommend it!

I haven't been able to even use this product. Because of the high-pitched noise my dog is terrified by it and you have to get your pet accustom to the trimmer and the noise. Depending on your pet that could take weeks, months. Then they have the same product at Walgreens for the same price if not cheaper so save yourself shipping cost and get it around the corner at Walgreens.

I think most iron are pretty much the same. What make this one special is that
1. It turns off by it self if you don't move it for few minutes.( I think it is a necessary feature no matter how alert you are)
2. It tell you when the temperature is "ready" for the fabric you choose. And it is very easy to set it up.
3. Stainless surface make it very efficient. (but may get some calcification in the long run compare to non-stick surface.

I am very satisfied with this except one little thing. Amazon drop the price from $49.99 to $40 few days after I bought it.

KitchenAid KP26M1XNP Professional 600 Series 6-Quart Stand Mixer, Nickel Pearl

I received this mixer as a gift for Christmas 2006. In October 2008 it broke - internals gears and housing cracked. It is no longer under warranty and is a $150+ repair. I used the mixer for regular household tasks about 2 times a week - i.e., nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm really disappointed - so much for my $300+ investment! Kitchen Aid customer service can do nothing for me - I'm leery of purchasing their products again. I do have the 4.5 qt. mixer that I used for 12 years and am again using now - it no longer locks but otherwise works fine. But I miss making double batches of bread, cookies, etc. GRRRRRR!!!!

The instrument arrived well packaged in perfect condition. Exactly what I expected. I am very pleased with the features. Simply to use. The small one page "manual" that came with it is very clear. Is very important to use it with the "Power Strip Liberator" (a short cord extension) in some crowded places where could be difficult to read the screen on the instrument.
