Bought this to accommodate family meals when everyone is here (8 of us)and I am not just cooking for 2. Well made and love the lid. I'd buy it again.
Great as a wok and all-in-one dinners.

This product is exactly what we have been searching for. Heavy Duty, Easy to clean,Comfortable Handles and Tight fitting lids. As with all Stainless Steel you must adjust you cooking method to a lower heat setting. As long as you keep that in mind you will love this cookware.As a matter of fact we loved it so much that we purchased every single piece of Multiclad Pro Stainless that Cuisinart makes. WE JUST LOVE IT!!

Anolon Advanced 3-1/2-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan

I bought this pan to cook candy because it is tall and narrower by at least an inch than All Clad. This allows the bulb of the thermometer to be under the liquid. The pan performed very well and its being non-stick is great for candy making. I agree with a previous reviewer about the lid, which does not fit tight; however, this did not seem to be an issue to make candy where you often have to put the lid on to trap steam to dissolve any sugar crystals. Even with the somewhat loose-fitting lid, the steam still formed (you can see it through the glass lid). I think it is a good idea, if you buy this for candy-making, to reserve it for that purpose only; if you use it for other things it will soon be scratched. Even with a wooden spoon there ... I bought this pan because I have a Revere set that I have had for 15+years. It didn't come with this size. Once I found it I bought it to go with the collection. This is great cookware that will last a lifetime. My Mom has had hers for over 40 years and it still looks great!

Good pot, but Amazon is inflating manufacturer's price. This pot goes for $69.95 on Cuisinart site. So Amazon is nocking off $10, but is attempting to lead one to believe it is even more! Shame Amazon!

Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron 14-Ounce Melting Pot

Before you purchase, consider the burner grates on your oven. The Lodge Logic melting pot is nicely made, but has to be watched when I use it as it is barely large enough to sit securely on my oven's burner grates. Also, as another shopper complained, whoever packs the item is not careful. In my case it had packing material (the awful balloon type), but was not property separated from the metal measuring cup I ordered. - Thankfully only scratching occurred and not enough for me to warrant returning the cup (especially when it is a pain to return anything) but enough to make me very unhappy. This is a great pan. Everyone needs a non-stick sauce pan and the shape of this one makes it perfect for many jobs. It's well made, not too heavy to handle and the glass lid lets you observe your work. The pan flares out near the rim, so for smaller jobs the ingredients are concentrated at the bottom. The flared out area makes it easier to get a spoon or spatula in there to work the sauce.

Revere 1400 Line 2-Quart Covered Saucepan

This pot is now made in Indonesia. I have an older, much used version and can compare this pot to it. The old one is of higher quality - better fit and finish and of a heavier build.

But RevereWare is still worth getting for every day and I don't regret the purchase although I do regret it is not quite the pot of yesteryear.

The acid test for me on this new pot will be when I burn it as I inevitable have done with all the others I have owned (from popping popcorn, to cooking rice too long, forgetting to put water in before using one of those aluminum veggie steamers - the kitchen is not one of the best places in the house for me ~(;->
