Lodge Pro-Logic 14-Inch Cast-Iron Wok with Loop Handles

With Lodge cast iron cookware, you know what you're getting; a heavy and heavy-duty cooking vessel. With their recent process of pre-seasoned LodgeLogic, it hasn't gotten lighter, but definitely better. Specifically with this wok, ( as has been mentioned before ), it takes a while to heat up,but it holds the heat and cooks very evenly. The two best features for me were the two smallish loop handles, so much better for storage, and the best news by far.... a true bowl bottom on the interior of the wok, absolutely no flat spots to collect any food and debris. It's performed beautifully and with the LodgeLogic, it's a breeze to clean with a stiff brush after sufficient cooling. With it's price, it's a steal.

I ENJOY THE STAINLESS STEEL WOK I PURCHASED FROM AMAZON. COM. IT WILL LAST A LONG TIME AND I CAN CLEAN IT OUT WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT SCRAPING ANYTHING OUT LIKE TEFLON. WHEN I COOK IN IT I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT CHEMICALS GETTING INTO MY FOOD, WHICH IS WHY I BOUGHT IT. IT IS A VERY FINE WOK. THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD PRICE.

The wok is working out just fine. Had a little trouble seasoning the wok but will keep trying. The only problem I had with this product is that when I received it the lid had several dings in it from the handle which was packed in the lid and bounced around in transit. Maybe someone needs to figure out a way to avoid this problem.

I loved it for the first few months I was using it, and was using it everyday. But the coating starts to come off and have to shop for a new pan now

Order the wok and got it damaged (off-shaped). The packaging is horrible. Basiclly they put the bare wok in the box filled with the giant air bubbles. The wok can move around freely in the box. Guess the damage is caused during shipping.

Return and reordered the Typhoon Carbon Steel wok, similar size and design, $3 cheaper. When I got it, I am very pleased with the quality:
*) properly packaged, plastic cover on the top, sheet of paper on the bottom; fitted in a box designed for it;
*) thick steel: 2.5mm rather than 1.8mm from joyce Chen;
*) handles are welded on the wok, so no dead spot when cleaning;
*) seasoning instruction are well documented, in 8 different languages, even thou I use my own seasoning way, ... Read More:

I love it! I'm old school and like the fact that you need to "season" the pan. I enjoy cooking on cast iron and this is very similar. No non-stick for me. If you prefer non-stick surfaces you might want to pass on this.

This chuan could not match the curvature of the fine wok any better(I got
both from the Wok Shop, which I also highly recommend). One caution: pound
the wood handle into the metal portion of the handle quite vigorously or you may have it detach. After my first use I didn't have a problem.

I'm really enjoying this wok! In the past I've had non-electric woks but decided to try an electric one (based on other reviews). I like the even heating and being able to set the exact temperature. Cleaning was easy, too.

wanted it for use on a charcoal bar b que grill and it worked perfectly. Fit just right and heated perfectly. Its not my only wok but it is my only round bottom one used on a charcoal burner. Love it!
