I ordered this for the office for more storage and counter space. All-in-all, it's not as bad as I was expecting, but quality control needs to check their items before shipping. One of the "Drawer Front" (G) was cracked on one corner, the "Support" (RR) had only one hole drilled in, which only allowed me to use one screw, the tab on one of the "Drawer Glides (DG) was broken off, and 2 of the 4 "Drawer Stop Pin" (DSP) were missing. I almost returned this product because of the service from FurnitureBuzz, but decided it was too much trouble to find another item.

An electric drill would come in handy as well...

The lowboy arrived quickly but required assembly as indicated. The instructions were adequate and the assembly went smoothly.

Prepac BSB-3336 Black Buffet / Console Table

Let's be real here - at this price you aren't buying fabulous well-made furniture. What you DO get for the money is a large console/buffet which looks pretty good. It's average quality particle board and the back piece is painted cardboard - but the cardboard isn;t structural so it's fine. You can also leave the back off if you prefer. I just finished putting mine together and the drawers slide well, the finish is nice and it's perfect in my crafts room. It would be equally at home in a dining room, entry way, or any other room. All the parts were included. The instructions were fairly good, meaning I was able to put it together in about three hours. I'm happy enough with it that I'm buying another one.

This is a great buffet for the price. The color is a mixture of deep chocolates. It has some imperfections in the wood but I believe it gives it a more rugged look and adds character to it. It actually looks like a piece of furniture that you would see in a modern day cabin in the woods.
