In a word, perfect. This spice rack is perfect for an in the cabinet hidden spice rack. We have a narrow cabinet that is not practical for too much but perfect for spices. The bottom shelf has a spice carrousel for regularly used spices and this is on the second shelf. When I pull it out they hang down to the first shelf level - which is "perfect." My only concern is that the bottom shelf seems like it may start to separate from the sides under the weight of the spices, but so far so good and I don't put my use everday spices on it.

Really, who ever thought of this gets a gold star, great idea and design. Works as advertised.

This Item looks nice and seems sturdy, but I am disappointed with the selection of spices I was sent. Many of them I have never heard of and will probably never use, while many common spices (ie. seasoned salt, cinnamon, garlic salt, nutmeg, etc.) are missing. The packaging slip states you are sent whatever is available at the time of shipping. At least if there were avariety of colors of spices it would look nicer just sitting on the counter, but they are all very dull colors - not like the picture. I could replace what is in the jars, but jars have labels on them. Also labels on tops of jars do not appear as they do in the picture. Much more plain. J.K. Adams BCS-16 16 1-1/2-Ounce Spice Bottles, Caps, Sifters Set

The set's caps came in two sizes, one with small holes and another with big holes. The big hole caps were too big to use on most of my spices. They were good for peppercorns, crushed peppers, fennel seeds, etc. I wished the entire set came in small holes, as these were more fitting to the seasonings I use, such as lemon pepper, or other ground spices. I didn't see any self-adhesive labels in the box, so I created my own. I buy all my spices from Penzeys Spices ([...]) and now I can save money by buying in bagful. Thanks, Amazon.com!

KitchenAid 20-Jar Spice Rack, Red

If you already have KitchenAid in your kitchen and love it, this is for you. If not, it's a great way to start your collection. It's well made and a classic touch to a kitchen. The only complaint I have is that I wish they had enabled us to change the names of the spices on at least a couple of the bottles since there are a couple of spices that I use frequently that are not included in this rack. I would love to be able to change them out with a couple of the spices I don't use but the names are already printed on the bottle. I'll figure out a way, but I just want it to look nice. Otherwise, I love this rack!

The design is nice and conserves space. But its hard to get them out of the magnetic strip.

I have completely transformed my spice shelves. It just took a few bucks and some effort, but now I'm all set. One of life's little pleasures.

I dumped all my out of date or lesser grocery store quality herbs and spices and bought from a bulk seller online. Not only is the quality WAY better, but at $2 per oz, the price was right as well. Then I got the 48-pack of glass spice bottles (from Amazon) and these labels, got out my funnel and got to work. This was actually fun and in the end I had all of these uniform bottles lined up on the counter with a full range of earthtones. Very pretty!

I bought this as a Xmas gift, it's now the end of February, for my Chef and he loved it. He was looking for something that was most importantly EMPTY, most spice racks come with spices, and was stainless steel black. This was it! He really likes the mouting option as he has it mounted over his sink area. Definelty recommend!!! :)
