Received the vegetable peelers in a timely manner, so was pleased about that. Had trouble putting batteries in 1 of the peelers because there was a tiny plastic piece in the way which we just cut out. Then batteries went in fine. (Looked like the plastic did not cut off straight at the manufacturer's.) Both peelers work great and are very sharp and easy to use. I tried a different peeler first that had a shield guard, but found I still had peelings flying all over the place if I was not careful. This peeler doesn't shred the peelings like the other one. It cuts them in strips just as if I was using a non-battery operated peeler. Much cleaner way of peeling! I was hoping to find a peeler that didn't need the "on" button pushed while peeling. ... As Seen On TV Magic Chopper

When attempting to use the chopper it simply "mushed" whatever was put on it instead of Chopping it. after several weeks of correspondence with the vendor--American Clocks--I returned the chopper at their direction and my expense in the original packaging, only to be informed by American Clocks that the chopper was "cracked" and therefore not reimbursable. What Malarky! I have been fighting this problen now for three months--hardly worth the effort. Do business with them at your own risk.

I have yet to use it for pancake batter. Cleans up easy. Good thing the container did not hold more volume 'cuz my wrist was awfully tired after all that batter for the cupcakes.
