Nice mitt. I use it at the oven. Works like it suppose to.
Wish this would have come in a set.
When the pan is heavy and real hot I still need another for the other
hand.

Calphalon Terry Kitchen Towel, Black Licorice

I'm a very picky person and I've had terrible luck finding a kitchen towel that won't shed.
I listened to the positive reviews and bought 4.
As soon as I took them out of the plastic I noticed that threads were dangling off of the towels.

I put them through the washer (cold water) and dryer (medium heat) and still black fuzzies are falling off. I tried using them to dry off my kitchen counter and it left a black streak.

These towels shed and they suck.

Calphalon Terry Dish Cloth, Black Licorice

The dishcloth is quite sturdy and will probably last forever but...it's difficult to rinse and keep clean. I wipe down the counter and everything sticks to it and won't rinse off. I don't know how most people are but I like to use my dish cloth more than once and these never really seem clean. I used them right away and they bled a little in hot water but I put them through the wash and nothing was stained so no worries there. I'm just not real thrilled with them and would be happier if Amazon carried the Cannon or KitchenAid dishcloths.

Yep. It's a towel. It looks cool. It brings notice. People want to know, "why does he have a Calphalon towel in his kitchen?" and it makes them look towards my pot rack and see the rest of the Calphalon I have. That's why I got this one. Becasue it matches the rest of my kitchen!
