The machine does make some noise. That being said, who really cares when you end up with perfect, customizable coffee for one every single time? It is the easiest machine to use, clean-up is as easy as washing the brew basket and cup, and there is never stale or wasted coffee. The noise, to me, is completely tolerable and, since the machine is really fast, it is also short-lived. The only thing that I ama little wary of is that the machine shakes a little and can move a bit, so you need to watch the cup when it first starts dripping because it can move around and even off the tray. This can be remedied by removing the tray and placing the cup on the counter, and it can be lessened by placing a rubber mat (i use a mousepad upside down) under ... Read More:

I bought this replacement bowl for a Cuisinart that is 20 years old. The bowl fits perfectly, and appears to be constructed out of the same sturdy material as the original.

Overall, this blender looks nice and works well. The heavy-duty motor does a quick job of chopping ice...and practically anything else! The glass pitcher is heavy, which is good (it's solid and well-balanced) and bad (when filled, it's more likely to be dropped). One minor complaint: as other reviewers have mentioned, the motor smells like burnt insulation after initial use...hopefully, that will wear off as the blender gets used more.

The 4-slice Cuisinart toaster has proved to be a worthwhile addition to our kitchen. The toaster has toasted bread well in a variety of settings (light to dark), has defrosted and toasted frozen waffles as it should and in general performed well. The toaster is attractive in design, is easily cleaned and has thus far been electically and mechanically sound. Based on our experience, we would recommend this toaster.

This is a great product. My boyfriend and I make crepes at least once a week. It's so easy to clean and a very sturdy product. Also the crepes don't stick. Very great buy!

I was roaming through the wilderness of a local electronics store, desperately seeking my next margarita. The night before, my Zinbo juicer had died suddenly and violently... a loud "snap" announced its broken driveshaft.

I was looking for a more reliable companion that was enjoyable and easy on the eyes, but prima donnas need not apply.

This juicer seemed to fill the bill. It looked and felt solidly made, and the smooth brushed stainless shape looked good on my counter. Plenty of power and a good reamer design - whatever the citrus, this juicer takes it down to the rind without slowing down and gives tasty, pulp-free juice without any bitterness. For that I respect and adore it.

First off, I am a devoted Cuisinart cookware fan; I own nonstick hard-anodized, stainless steel and Multiclad pieces. I bought this piece because I couldn't find a Multiclad Chef's pan in any size.

It's very nice - great, mirrored finish interior & attractive brushed exterior, with a safe, good-fitting (not too tight) mirrored lid. It's lighter than Multiclad in weight, as you'd expect from stainless steel. Heating is even, the capacity is generous and the shape accommodates most utensils down in the 'seam' where the pan bottom meets the bowl. If you know how to cook with & care for stainless steel, Cuisinart's will not disappoint you -- it's very forgiving and easy to clean.

The cons far outweigh the pros of this little machine.

Pros:
1. Good cup of coffee

Cons:
1. Difficult to fill reservoir without spilling
2. Difficult to fill cup with coffee without spilling (carafe lid leaks)
3. Difficult to fill cup with coffee without burning hand with escaping steam from carafe.
4. If you lift the reservoir lid (which also holds the hot water dispenser) at the end of the cycle, water that had formed on the underside of the lid will spill back onto the boiling element and shoot steam and drops of boiling water on you hands and at your face.
