Quick shipping & product as advertised. (bowl pictured is not included) So far has been great, we have used it several times, the unit is easy to clean but I hand wash the heating plate even though it is rated for the dishwasher. Popcorn is definitely much better than microwave!

We got two of these machines about 2 years ago. The first one lastest about a year and the second is now taking forever to make 6-8 cups of coffee. Definitely not up to Cuisinart reputation for other appliances.

My wife has a host of food allergies and ordinary, store-bought ice-cream is highly toxic to her. This machine enables me to make ice-cream that's free of milk, eggs and preservatives. I use a thick pudding made of arrowroot flour and soy milk, added to soy milk, sugar, a little vegetable oil and pureed fresh, canned or frozen fruit to make healthy and delicious deserts. Awesome stuff. I'll eventually get around to posting exact recipes to my website (don-guitar.com).

I read the reviews, and yes, you get what you pay for. This is a great price, but you must make your own recipes. The simple chocolate recipe is horrible, waaay to much cream (causes tummy ache). So if you have the time to 'experiment' in the kitchen, it is a cool product. My advice: freeze the bowl like everyone says but also, you MUST refrigerate your mix as well before you pour it in. Also, there is only a short window from when your ice cream dispenses properly 30-40mins, then it's hard, then it starts to melt! Overall, I'd rather pay Mr. Softee $2.

The machine does make some noise. That being said, who really cares when you end up with perfect, customizable coffee for one every single time? It is the easiest machine to use, clean-up is as easy as washing the brew basket and cup, and there is never stale or wasted coffee. The noise, to me, is completely tolerable and, since the machine is really fast, it is also short-lived. The only thing that I ama little wary of is that the machine shakes a little and can move a bit, so you need to watch the cup when it first starts dripping because it can move around and even off the tray. This can be remedied by removing the tray and placing the cup on the counter, and it can be lessened by placing a rubber mat (i use a mousepad upside down) under the whole unit. I ... Read More:
