Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless-Steel 14 Piece Cookware Set

I recieved this set today, ordered it from here about a week ago and chose the free shipping. I have been somewhat aprehensive about ordering these, as another reviewer mentioned they were not very heavy and I worried that I'd get these awful, flimsy junk pots and pans like I've always seemed to have. They've got a nice heft to them, not flimsy at all, and they're gorgeous. The bottoms seem incredibly solid which is wonderful, because I have one of those glass top stoves and my old cookware has over time (some of it nearly 40 years old) warped, especially on the bottom, so I'm really looking forward to even heating from these beauties. I have been using this coffee make for about 30 days and am quite satisfied. The Stainless steel pot keeps the coffee hot; how long depends on how much is in it - the more, the longer it stays hot. It looks good and does not take up much room on the counter. I particularly like that it shuts off completely after brewing; no hot plate that keeps clicking on and off.

The only negative feature, but one i'm willing to live with involves having to turn the pot almost upside down to get the last of the coffee out. But it's a minor thing.

I read the reviews, and yes, you get what you pay for. This is a great price, but you must make your own recipes. The simple chocolate recipe is horrible, waaay to much cream (causes tummy ache). So if you have the time to 'experiment' in the kitchen, it is a cool product. My advice: freeze the bowl like everyone says but also, you MUST refrigerate your mix as well before you pour it in. Also, there is only a short window from when your ice cream dispenses properly 30-40mins, then it's hard, then it starts to melt! Overall, I'd rather pay Mr. Softee $2.

Our Mr. Coffee broke after about 10 months of use and then we went out and purchased a Kitchen Aid that quit working after 2 weeks. After reading these reviews online for the Cuisinart brand we decided to give this coffee maker a shot.

Wow, we are extremely pleased with the taste this maker produces - it is so good!! I'm actually shocked that this great of coffee comes out of my kitchen. I know some people have voiced frustration since it doesn't come with a coffee pot, but it's really not that big of a deal - any pitcher will work and there is a measurement indicator on the side.

I would definitely recommend this brand out of the top 3 I listed above.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the first one I had broke within 2 months. We replaced it and have not had a problem since. My fault though, I over stuffed it. I also gave it 4 stars because it is so small. Though it's size makes it very easy to store.
My husband and I use this little guy for just about everything. I have used it to make butternut squash soup, grate cheese for various dishes, chop up garlic, make cheese cake and pretty much everything/ anything I can possibly think of. I use it very rarely to make salsa and guacamole because I prefer to have those two dishes on the chunky side. I find the mini prep is too powerful for those dishes. I highly recommend this product! I would be lost without it!

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Medium Dome Cover

I have the cusinart non-stick everyday pan too. I like them both. The Non-stick comes with a glass lid that fits both pans. As does the steel dome cover lid fits both. Both are easy to clean and I find that the steel pan has a heavier bottom. It heats up nice cooks evenly and my Older daughter prefers it because she loathes non-stick pans. I use this pan for stir fry and one pan dish meals & Pan fried fish. And unlike the non stick pan this goes in the dish washer. But hand cleaning has not been a probelm. I like it and the high dome cover is a real plus. An excellent buy at 30.00 bucks. I would recommend this pan. It will stay on your stove. It's pretty. (My wife bought it at a store without checking Amazon as part of her kitchen remodeling project.) I don't have any problem with the coffee quality. And the automatic shut-off is a nice feature. But it is virtually impossible to use the carafe to fill the water reservoir because: (1) It is difficult to pour water out of the carafe without spilling it under the "best of circumstances" and only if you have lot more time on your hands than I do when I am trying to get off to work in the morning; and (2) the angle at which the carafe must be held while filling the reservoir is not the "best of circumstances." This product is exactly what we have been searching for. Heavy Duty, Easy to clean,Comfortable Handles and Tight fitting lids. As with all Stainless Steel you must adjust you cooking method to a lower heat setting. As long as you keep that in mind you will love this cookware.As a matter of fact we loved it so much that we purchased every single piece of Multiclad Pro Stainless that Cuisinart makes. WE JUST LOVE IT!!
