...like a lot of people have mentioned the steam does goes back in the grinder and it is inconvenient when you want to make a second pot right away. Also the grinder is loud. Clean up is pretty easy. I just make sure to take everything out and rinse it really well each time. It takes less then 5 minutes. It is really nice that you can remove the top portion of the grinder and just put it under the tap since the motor is in the coffee maker. Also the thermal pot is awesome, my coffee stays hot for hours. I forgot it about it over night once and the next afternoon I poured out what was left in the pot and it was still warm. This is the second set of non-stick Cuisinart cookware we have pruchased over the years and, once again, the pieces within it have lived up to our high expectations!

Considering it's middle-of-the-road price the quality of the pieces seem exceptional. I great purchase for a growing family that includes plenty of cooks, but certainly not any chefs! Ha!

Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14-Cup Food Processor, Brushed Stainless Steel

I've had my Cuisinart food processor almost 2 years. A few weeks ago, the center spindle just froze. The motor continued to hum, but the spindle didn't move. I called Cuisinart, hoping to find a local repair shop that could fix it. NOPE!!! You have to ship it back to Cuisinart, with no quaranty that anything can be done. So, my expensive state-of-the-art food processor sits - not working. I was VERY disappointed with Cuisinart. I had heard horror stories of their lack of customer service, but really didn't believe them. Well, I DO NOW!!! So I am now finished with Cuisinart.

Cuisinart CSK-150 1500-Watt Nonstick Oval Electric Skillet

In my life, I have owned three electric skillets. This overall is the best by far. It has a big capacity without being enormous to store and clumsy to handle. It's temperature settings are right on and hold food well. Its no stick feature is great-- the only thing is forget about carmelizing vegetables well- and cleans up in a flash. The lid is tight fitting enough to be unconcerned about drying up or burning up unattended food. The only thing that is a little strange is that, as it heats and cools, it makes a few popping noises. At first, I thought the glass lid was going to shatter but, nope, it still pops a bit with no worry. Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-Inch Loaf Pan

My biggest disappointment is that this pan scratches and rusts. I would recomment trying the Chicago Metallic loaf pans.

Cuisinart DLC-1SS Mini-Prep Processor, Brushed Stainless Steel

No complaints about this bowl. The small size is fine for our needs but we don't prepare large or fancy meals very often. I bought a replacement bowl for my DLC-1SS because the bowl became really dingy and filthy-looking after using it to grind some allspice. The texture of the spice acted like sandpaper and scarred the inside surface and it looks dirty all of the time.

Cuisinart TTG-500 Two-to-Go Coffeemaker

Many of the reviews mention that the on/off switch doesn't work after a while. Well, mine broke after just 2 days. This is because there is a fatal flaw somewhere in the manufacturing of the product, and the button simply fails at a very high rate. I bought one of these at a department store, and it didn't turn on/off at all. Then I bought another from Amazon, hoping to fix the problem and get a better deal, but now the button on this one has stopped working after TWO DAYS! Since I love the design of the product otherwise, I went to the store, bought a switch, and wired it in myself. It looks horrible, and I've spent about 2 hours dealing with it, but at least it works.
Should Cuisinart, an otherwise respectable brand, really be putting this kind of garbage ... Read More:
