Cuisinart CSK-150 1500-Watt Nonstick Oval Electric Skillet

In my life, I have owned three electric skillets. This overall is the best by far. It has a big capacity without being enormous to store and clumsy to handle. It's temperature settings are right on and hold food well. Its no stick feature is great-- the only thing is forget about carmelizing vegetables well- and cleans up in a flash. The lid is tight fitting enough to be unconcerned about drying up or burning up unattended food. The only thing that is a little strange is that, as it heats and cools, it makes a few popping noises. At first, I thought the glass lid was going to shatter but, nope, it still pops a bit with no worry. My biggest disappointment is that this pan scratches and rusts. I would recomment trying the Chicago Metallic loaf pans.

Cuisinart DLC-1SS Mini-Prep Processor, Brushed Stainless Steel

No complaints about this bowl. The small size is fine for our needs but we don't prepare large or fancy meals very often. I bought a replacement bowl for my DLC-1SS because the bowl became really dingy and filthy-looking after using it to grind some allspice. The texture of the spice acted like sandpaper and scarred the inside surface and it looks dirty all of the time.

Cuisinart TTG-500 Two-to-Go Coffeemaker

Many of the reviews mention that the on/off switch doesn't work after a while. Well, mine broke after just 2 days. This is because there is a fatal flaw somewhere in the manufacturing of the product, and the button simply fails at a very high rate. I bought one of these at a department store, and it didn't turn on/off at all. Then I bought another from Amazon, hoping to fix the problem and get a better deal, but now the button on this one has stopped working after TWO DAYS! Since I love the design of the product otherwise, I went to the store, bought a switch, and wired it in myself. It looks horrible, and I've spent about 2 hours dealing with it, but at least it works.
Should Cuisinart, an otherwise respectable brand, really be putting ... Read More:

This is a great skillet for an amateur cook. I'm a student who tries to find time to cook for myself and buying a skillet for $40 has made me more willing to throw a steak into the oven or make grilled cheese sandwiches to go with fresh pasta on a cold Fall evening. If you let the pan soak after cooking, things come right off with a sponge.

This pan is really everything that I could ask for. The 10'' is a perfect size to cook almost anything in a stainless steel pan. I'll likely buy a Cuisinart 12'' non-stick for fried rice and the like.

My only complaint about the pan is that the packaging is extremely ineffective at preventing damage to the pan. Amazon tried to protect the box with more than enough air packs but I noticed one ... Read More:

I wanted a 5-6qt stainless steel pot with glass lid. This seemed to be perfect. Unfortunately, it's use is limited since you can only use low and slow heat. I think the capacity is too large for the small base. Be careful.....very to easy to burn food on the bottom. It's a great steamer with a separate insert.
