I also took a chance on this product and ran into the uneven toasting problem. Tried toasting using all slots set at 3. Slot 1, uneven but decently toasted on both sides. Slot 2, burnt on one side and toasted on the other.. Slot 3, not toasted on one side and toasted on the other. Slot 4, uneven but decently toasted on both sides. I would strongly recommend not purchasing this toaster.

Cuisinart Sandwich Grill

I've now gone through 2 of these in 18 months. The non-stick surface chips off easily and I did not use a metal utensil on it. It just seemed to rub off while I was cleaning. We got a few good months out of both of them, but for now I don't want to serve my children chipping teflon (or whatever it is) in their grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm sure I could send it back for another one from Cuisinart (which I did w/the first one) but I think I will try another brand.

Bought this set after a long search for a stainless steel set. The price attracted me to this set and I am so glad that I found it. They look nice, and the food turns out wonderfully. If you follow the directions and cook at a lower temp you don't have issues with food sticking. Any stuck on foods can easily be removed with Bon Ami which is inexpensive and environmentally friendly. I highly recommend the set.

These pans are very well made...heavy duty...bake evenly and best of all I got them on a 4 for 3 sale at $8.95 a pan!! gave two as gifts..What a bargain!...thanks Amazon!

Cuisinart Chef's Classic 6-Cup Nonstick Muffin-Top Pan

I bought 2 of the muffin top pans for my sisters birthday. She had the same ideas as most other people, but then started coming up with lots of other uses......mini-cakes(douple layered), cookies, tarts, cornbread, mini cheezecakes; the list goes on and on, but one of the ideas I liked best was, make cookies, then freeze ice cream in small shallow containers, put them all together for fabulous ice cream sandwiches. Now if I could only find cup-cake top pans :-) YUMMM

Cuisinart HM-70 Power Advantage 7-Speed Hand Mixer, Stainless and White

Cuisinart continues it's reputation for quality and value, with this mixer. It's significantly more quiet than our old mixer, and very easy to use and handle. I guess you really don't need 7 speeds, but it is nice to start out slowly and then speed up. We got what we expected.

We purchased this toaster oven to use during our complete kitchen remodel. The laundry room was the make do kitchen area for longer than I would like to remember. To make life seem as normal as possible during this process I used this product almost daily from morning toast to even broiled chicken. The remodel is complete and the toaster oven has earned it's counter space and the stainless steel finish looks great next to my new appliances.

I have to agree with the others that didn't think much of this unit. I just bought one of these for $19 and that's about what it's worth quality wise. No way anyone in their right mind would pay over a hundred dollars for this and I believe that's what the list price was before it went out of stock! I think this one is just going on the shelf as an emergency backup unit when my other brand-X fails because right now my Brand-X is a better unit then this one. Hopefully it won't smoke when I do need it, in fact I should just fire it up once to see if it does even work. The old adage "You don't get something for nothing" applies here.
