I just decided to test the scales accuracy. I placed my wrist watch on it and then went to work and placed my watch on a scientific (accurate to the 4th decimal) laboratory scale. The Home scale read 140 grams the lab scale read 140.2 grams. That's more good enough for me!

In terms of use I found the scale to be extremely intuitive and easy to use. It runs on two AA batteries and has an automatic shutoff that clicks in after 4 minutes.

All in all well worth the price.

This is a great scale. I have used it a few times and had no problem at all. It has made my life much easier in the kitchen especially when following recipes, since I have tons of cookbooks, some with measurements in pounds and some in grams. I highly recommend it!

I own two of these; one for at home and I keep one at my son's restaurant for when I bake. They are quite accurate and you would be amazed at how inaccurate your measuring cups and spoons are! Did you know that 1 cup of sugar is 7 ounces?! There is a list of foods that are numbered that come with it and all you do is put in a number - 58 is butter or cream - set volume or lbs./ounces/grams and put in your ingredients. You can keep adding more to it by clearing the number, type in the new ingredient number, tare the weight and keep going. This is for liquid or dry and you can do both in the same bowl. Escali #PR100S Liberta Pocket Scale

I purchased this little scale thinking I could use it to weigh food portions for meals. It is small and compact and travels nicely in the little travel pouch included. That's the good part. The scale itself just wouldn't work correctly to weigh in ounces. I returned the product.

I LIKE THIS SCALE. I USE IT FOR WEIGHING HORSE GRAIN, AT THE BARN, SO IT GETS SOME ROUGH USE. IT HOLDS IT ZERO MARK VERY GOOD. NICE, COMPACT, EASY TO STORE. I AM BUYING ANOTHER ONE.

need calibrating out of the box, however you will need a 200g weight
to recalibrate, not included.
