The refrigerator works very well. As per the instructions make sure to wait 24 hours before turning it on. It arrived without damage and keeps the temperature just fine. Noise level is acceptable (nothing amazing, but its not bad either).

The packaging is in fact attrocious. There is literally no foam padding of any kind. Amazon packs its books better than Haier packs its fridge. Only order if you have Amazon Prime - upgrade it to overnight shipping ($3.99) and your order is unlikely to arrive with any damage. The less time in shipping, the less likely you are to see damage.

Other than that, this is a great mini-fridge especially given the price.

I ordered this item yesterday, and it arrived only 24 hours later. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged to the point that it is unusable. A panel on the bottom is bent so that the fridge cannot sit squarely on the ground, and there are dents on the sides and corners. To be honest, I'm amazed it's not worse, as it was packed in only a plastic bag and the box, no additional packing materials.
Both the size and the price are good, so I'm hoping that the replacement item that is being shipped to me will work out.

This refrigerator is not a good value. It's very small and cramped. Packaging was insufficient to protect it while shipping. My unit came badly damaged. One corner was completely smashed (like an accordian) and one side was caved in.

I bought this for a friend, and as others stated it arrived dented, just in original packaging is the reason why..I called Amazon and explained that it could go one of 2 ways, I could send it back and play until I got a good one, not dented or they could offer me a discount and I'd keep this one seeing that it works good, they offered me a 20% discount so I kept it.
Now unless it fails to freeze which it has been fine so far. Amazon was great about this..

I am extremely disappointed in this refrigerator/beverage center, HC125FVS. I purchased it at a local "big-name" store. Firstly, the drinks on the top shelf never got really cold, and the temperatures varied greatly from one shelf to the next. I have 4 thermometers, and this is what the temperature degree results were at for the 7th (coldest setting) - 6th setting (2nd coldest):
Top: 45-55
3rd: 40-45
2nd: 35-40
small bottom shelf: 30-40

There was an ongoing variance of 5 degrees per shelf. Also keep in mind that the average refrigerator should be at 35-40 degrees MAX.

From the mixed reviews, I had my reservations about this product. I was worried about everything from the dishwasher being damaged during shipping to the ease of setting it up, as well as its cleaning capabilities. My biggest worry was having to deal with bad customer service, which was a major theme from some of the worst reviews I read back in February when I made this purchase. I am extremely happy to report, after 8 months of continuous use (at least once a day & sometimes twice a day), that this little dishwasher has proven itself to be an essential part of our tiny kitchen.

I also got their product and it died after a few months.
I did get a replacement which took a while and they needed all the information you can think of before they would send the replacement.
But after another couple of months the new one died too. I will not bother wasting my time trying to replace it again.
But when it works it is a perfect size and it is very quiet.
