Having bought EVERY pink item in the last several months. I was dismayed to discover that none of the money was going to CFTC just because I had bought them. Seems that in VERY small print on the hang tag, there is a disclaimer. You have to go online and register the product. Only then will KitchenAid fork over the Money...... Yes for something as small as a set of measuring cups or a knife, you have to register.

Of course I discovered this long after I had thrown away the hang tags. So I went to LOWES and wrote down the UPC from the items they still stocked there. They were out of several items I have and didn't know if they were getting any more. So now I am off to the mall kitchen store. Wish me luck. Oh and SAVE those ... Read More:

Kitchenaid KAT176ER Prep Bowls - Red

Wow! I've bought a couple sets for storage of veggies and fruits! What a turn around... I've always had bowls like from Tuperware where the lids were hard to fit and sometimes never fit. These the lids fit like a charm and are a wonderful item. I also have the mathing mixing bowls too!

Would certainly recommended this product!

KitchenAid All Purpose Scraper, White

This is another great product for a great price from KitchenAid. Very easy to clean, dishwasher safe, composite handle. It also has measurements which have come in more handy than I originally thought.

My only complaint is that the blade/scraper is about 1/2 inch to shallow. Due to the sturdy and easy to clean handle, it is bigger than other board scrapers, and ultimately cuts into the size of 'blade' or 'scraper'. Result, you do not get as clean of a cut when dealing with rising doughs.

All in all a great product. A new favorite tool in my kitchen.

KitchenAid KHM5APWH 5-Speed Ultra Power Hand Mixer, White

I have liked Kitchen Aid product so I bought this 5 speed model. Got it and opened the box. I was going to throw the packaging away, but then thought I should turn it on to make sure it works. The beaters turned, it changed speeds, so I slid the switch to OFF and the plastic knob broke off the switch. I check the construction and you could not have molded that plastic part thinner or cheaper. The $50 mixer is junk because of a 5 cent part. They should have spent 8 cents and it would not have broken. Nice job Kitchen Aid.

Another example of the pitfalls of online purchasing, when you reside in a foreign country. (Very difficult to make exchanges.)
Unlike the KA Burnished Flat Beater, the Dough Hook fits, but not satisfactorily. It will mix and knead dough, but not as effectively as the old, coated dough hook which it was intended to replace. It simply does not extend far enough toward the bottom of the bowl.

KitchenAid Ice Cream Spade, Red

What can I say? This handy little gadget is the best ice cream scoop we've ever owned. If the ice cream is frozen solid, just run a little hot water over the scoop before dipping and the scoop will cut right through it. The handle is just the right size to maintain a good grip and the generous scoop will fill your bowl quickly. The only drawback is that if you have kids, it would be hard to fill an ice cream cone with a scoop this size and shape. Otherwise, it's perfect.

KitchenAid Burnished Flat Beater

This beater replaces the one shipped w/my new Artisan mixer. I agree w/other reviewers that this should be the beater shipped w/the mixer. After using my cheap, painted beater for a short time - it started flaking! My beater-to-bowl clearance was correct. When I complained to KA, I got an email explaining how to check the clearance & directing me to their overpriced website to buy a new beater. I was not impressed & fortunately, they are not the only place to buy a new beater. KA has slipped in quality over the last several years. I have an old KA mixer (20+ years) that I moved to my weekend house when I got the new Artisan. That beater/mixer is fine & has seen a lot of work.

KitchenAid Cook For The Cure Can Opener, Pink

Are you old enough to remember the OLD Swing-A-Way manual can openers that would ALWAYS open any can in the house? This is it. The weight and balance and cutting angle are just right. You won't find a can -- of condensed milk, peas, or fruit that this will not open perfectly. Many new can openeners have trouble if the angle is not quite right on the top or leave uncut strips on the upper surface. Or else your hand gets tired from trying to twist the crank. Not this bad boy. It really does the job and is easy to use.

I can't recommend it highly enough.

It's pink too! that deserves five and a half stars!

KitchenAid Whirlpool PUR Ultimate Filter (4396711 / 4396710 4-pack) - Buy 4 for $139 and Save!

The product title is misleading. This is not a KitchenAid Whirlpool PUR "Ultimate" Filter as the title suggests. It is a four pack of "Advanced" filters which remove less contaminates than the "Ultimate" filter sold at Sears.

These are the three levels of filter quality.
Ultimate = Best (what I wanted)
Advanced = Good (what I got)
Deluxe = Fair
